10/10/2025 from me:

4. Nike lost its way under its predecessor. He was more tech v. understanding Nike’s DNA, putting sports 1st. Nike is back to putting its athletes & sports, first. Part of the reason Nike was OK w substituting UTenn for USCe was its relationship w A’Ja. It was to help grow her brand while taking care of her alma mater. Nike is no longer sitting; they r now being extremely aggressive in the NIL arena, locking down top players at the AAU circuit & kids playing at Nike branded schools at the CFB & CBB level.

Again, I’ll be branded as the bad guy & zealot 24/7 if it means providing accurate info to the peanut gallery. Oh & I said something about Nike trying to reclaim lost Asian territory:

Not a good week for Nike. Spending a fortune at the World Cup, losing the sales battle to Adidas and it's a full 3 stripes final. But at least they get the 3rd place game!!! Look at the bright side!!

Commence with the propaganda to defeat scary facts and data.

How are those "facts and data" scary in any way?

You claim that you don't care that much, but you keep posting these strangely celebratory musings. And that's your right, but still...

Good for adidas. The company that has supported and focused on international soccer for a century, and was the official sponsor of the World Cup...had the most sales. Yay.

I hope it's been obvious I've been trolling you guys for the last 2 weeks? It's not that serious.

Like I said many times before, I find the whole Nike fanclub thing strange. But hey people are allowed to enjoy what they want.

Nike NIL deals.. Mali still a free agent?

The fact Nike flipped Chris Henry Jr from Adidas is quite the unexpected…or was it?

But it’s waaaaaaaay more than this.

Nike signed a gang of Bama, Clemson, O$U, USC, Auburn, Oregon, Texas, & USCe student athletes.

Man, whatever. We got our players wearing baggy uniform pants, looking like Cinnabon employees.

3 stripe life all the way!!! @ShadowSpring

Yea Im sure they have a full roster, Im just posting what I come across.. Alot of high school kids got deals too, including former recruits we missed on Dollar and MJC

Nike finally joining the HS NIL party

They were the first, Cuddy. They just wasn’t doing football until kids got to their branded colleges. They were doing soccer & volleyball female athletes, & b-ball guys welllllll b4 Adidas. Adidas was the first to start doing football, however, which is y I been banging on them b/c most of their football NIL guys were going to Nike schools. But there’s a reason UTenn & PSU is getting more guys this cycle b/c they’ve finally caught on that it’s more productive to have NIL guys go to their schools.

I just feel they wasted valuable resources on two programs trending downward which I predicted UTenn would do last season.

Might not be a good look if they block their guys from adidas schools..
That will get strange. If Nike is getting serious in the NIL that makes me think Miami going with Nike would be more likely than I previously thought. However this will just become an arms race between Nike and Adidas and they will both end up signing lots of players. Standing with your chest up because Adidas or Nike sign such and such player is likely fools gold. It'll be both of em. It'll also go in cycles thru the length of our contract.

Bro, don’t you get it? This is a cult, it’s literally Nike worship - most bizarre thread going on CIS. But like a car accident, I can’t help but look.

Last year, the ACC had a 68% increase in year-over-year TV viewership, higher than any other P4 conference.

Based on these scary one-year facts and data, should Miami stay in the ACC?

Mario is too smart of a guy and coach to just co-sign reupping with Adidas without hearing all other apparel companies out. I'm VERY confident of this. Whomever we sign with I know it's the best deal for the U.

And, it's comical that Peter Ariz had a 7 on 7 coach who obviously has a business relationship with Adidas on his show to do what? Talk up Adidas LOL

Just to put a nail in this since literally one of these jits is my little homies (not saying who, but iykyk):
