I only rewatched the first half, but I haven't seen Redwine make a play, or even be in position to make a play, in 6 quarters. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a safety help out or CBs over the top this season. Part of it is lack of range, but it seems like our whole back 7 takes a step in the wrong direction to start every play, and then end up chasing and out of position.Speaking of Sheldrick Redwine he is our best safety, not great but solid with potential. Unfortunately Jaquan Johnson has become a liability up to this point. His lack of athleticism is making him look bad out there especially bc he lacks ideal height. That TD went right over his stretched finger tips...
JJ at least makes plays in run support, blows up screens pretty regularly. He is a football player, and we need his leadership and guts. But he is definitely not playing in the ideal position/scheme.
