You pretty much sum up what the f*ck is wrong with this country. You sound like a sound bite from some of these news stations.. Ideas from both sides is what makes the country go, and if everybody was like you, America is definitely f*ck. Try not to shoot up a mall or something if the politics of this country don't go your way lol

Believe me, I could recreate this but 10x worse (and actually more detrimental to American society over the years) with the Boomers. They are the first to shake their government sponsored fist at the youth for being stupid yet THEIR gullibility is the driving force behind almost all belief in widespread hoaxes, "fake news", propaganda, etc.

The platitude is great, however the practice just isnt there. For all the rigidity of the religious right, they were at least 1% for reasonable compromise (although they do hold ABHORRENT views on a few subjects to be sure).

The nut job progressives (because they are) have become the tea party of the Ds, only much larger than the Tea Party is/was on the R side.

The progressive basic platform can be summed up like this:
1) Eliminate the sovereignty of ANY nation (start with evil US) through bureacratic agreements rather than law (people's will)
2) eliminate anything hurtful (of course as THEY define it, not anybody else)
3) enslave the rich because they are all bad and everyone deserves their money and resources
4) supress or eliminate anyone who doesn't hold their woke views on pick-a-topic and pick-a-day
5) collective payment for any and all, regardless if they want to contribute to society

That about sums it up...

another huge problem is that higher education system that has become all about customer service instead of education to keep the ever-inflating bureaucracy afloat (and to give upper admin and their cronies raises for doing jack ****). higher education, for the most part, has become a business.

anyone that was at um from the mid 00's to now can see it with the massive influx of international students and the unbelievable amount of money they bring in.

They do this crap because of our primary system that encourages the parties to pick a candidate that appeals to their base and then hope they can get to a better middle position than the opposing party's candidate in the general election.

It doesn't help that the media has signed on to push crazy and bash anyone to the right of Lenin.

I don't live by social media or news sound bites. Fox and CNN have become so dam polarized, it's useless. I deal with how people interact with me in real life/ real time. That's the day age we're living in where Twitter and Slanted cable news channel have become the standard form of source, and that **** is sad as ****

And there's people in the middle who has to listen to the BS from both sides. There was a time in this country where things were govern from the middle out. Now, it's about extremes, and in this social media age, Extremes sells. Hopefully this country doesn't sell its soul in the process for allowing both extremes to have an even larger platform. Throughout history, political extremes tend not to have a good outcome, whether it's left or right.
