We have corches and players who haven’t been known for their superior IQs. Think about what it took for the implosion to run its course. The kneel of course but before that you are in the shotgun! Then the fumble then you let the guy get behind your entire defense with no time on the clock!

If this isn’t a validation of low IQs across the board please let me know what the illness Is.

OK. Fair. It's not.
I get it. Last night was an effing W and the biggest blunder ever by a HC happened. But this season isn’t lost. Is there a potential for a dive? Of course. But we are about to see what this 2023 team is made of.

Who cares if you don't win the game? That's the whole point.

If miami can beat UNC and FSU and put themselves in position to still win the conference, then that will win the fan base back and help us to better forget what happened last night.

You’re not getting to ACCCG with two losses. Miami is not running the table in conference. It is certainly possible that Mario ends up costing us a trip to CG and a potential title because he decided not to tell his QB to kneel down. Only thing that saves him is UM going undefeated rest of the way. And we know that’s not happening.

The great part of being objective, I mean a mope, is that losses like last night don’t change my outlook on the season. We are a meh 8-4 maybe if things go bad good 7-5/9-3 team. We are still that. Nothing has changed, we were just reminded 1) Mario is a terrible game day coach and 2) many over reacted to our first 4 games. Onto UNC
One would do well presuming every year is 7-5 regardless of how we play in September and October. It’s so much better for the soul.

Def not lost but with so many tough games ahead you have got to take the games that are wins. I mean miami literally gave away a win. Let's see how they respond. This UNC game will tell us alot

Even after a night's sleep .it hasn't worn off.
The eyes don't lie.. couple that with experience and tenure and some of us already know what's likely going to happen next.
Done with Mario and his staff...just need to get to the point where I don't ***** about it in here every day.

And no, I'm not Bruce Willis in this scene.

This will become the new Doug Flutie throw…something else the sorts shows can rag on us about for the next 10 years…will be known forever as the Mario Miscalculation….
Nobody is going to talk about this if the team goes out and win. If they start stacking losses then it will be

In the last 26 seconds, this is the list of errors it took for us to lose:

1. A $8 million dollar HC unaware that he could kneel to win the game

2. Refs missing Chaney’s elbow was down and it wasn’t a fumble

3. Couch trying to play hero ball and go for a pick instead of batting it down

4. Our All American safety abandoning his deep zone and allowing a WR to get over the top for the score.

Wouldn’t have believed all 4 if I didn’t watch it live
I’ve posted it’s a one in a million half minute lol. We hit powerball last night , the bad one

The worse coaching blunder since Pete Carroll in the Super Bowl.

My fandom and love for the Canes always makes me think every new coach will get us back, but my gut has always told me that Mario is not the guy to get us another natty.

10 win seasons maybe, but no natty

I don’t see how we come back from this loss, that’s a wrap on the season. It’s so egregiously bad, it’s being discussed nationally as an all-time blunder. And it will be talked about for years.
This.
I can’t see how the team can bounce back or have any faith in the head coach after a humiliation like that.

That entire staff had about 10 minutes of real time - more than 4 minutes of game time - to think about how to competently end the game. The entire final drive was called with the intention of running out the clock. This was not difficult math calculation that snuck up on them. It was, literally, the purpose of the drive: get to a point where we can kneel to end the game. Lmao
this is the part those saying the timeout call to recalibrate or whatever are leaving out.

There sole purpose of the drive was to do just that....they get to tht point AND dont do it..decide to run 2 more plays lol

I’m not sure what other Miami team and college footballs TOP 25 these fans have been watching but that wasn’t the Miami of OLD (aside from TVD and that was a historically bad game even for him) but despite all of that we still won the game at the end. UM of old would have let Gtech take over the game after those two quick scores. We owned Gatech in all aspects of that game and put up 50 if TVD didn’t ploy like he put all of his NIL money on the Jackets.

Just about every top 25 team has had one game exactly like that. Where they had to grind out a close one against an inferior team. FSU had two already they could have easily lost. They should have lost the Clemson game. But again every team has had a close game they eked out except GA.

We won that game. There should be a formal appeal. And UM should make a huge stink about it and talk about it like UCF talks about their imaginary championship.

This team absolutely has enough talent to win out if TVD can play well in the important games and not have another catastrophic game.

How they respond to this will absolutely define Mario and the program for the next 5 years.
