Who cares if you don't win the game? That's the whole point.

If miami can beat UNC and FSU and put themselves in position to still win the conference, then that will win the fan base back and help us to better forget what happened last night.

UL is in the driver's seat. Cupcake ACC schedule.

If Miami ends at 9-3 with a bowl win, the fans will be on-board and still upset we didn't get to 10-2/11-2.

If the team gives up and starts getting destroyed im going to actively try and stop paying attention for good. I let this crap impact me way more than it should and i think 20ish years of getting kicked in the balls is enough. Not sure if I'll be successful but i really will try. I'm WAY more apathetic now than i used to be when Miami lost though so it might be happening naturally anyway.

I will say no fans in any sport anywhere get ****ed with more by the universe than Miami fans. Like 100 crazy things had to happen to lose the game last night and they all did.

Having said that if Miami beats UNC next week my dumbass will be fully engaged again.
I’m right there with you brother! The orange and green kool aid is so delicious!! I cannot resist.

I feel like when Mario said “get rid of the anxiety” he was including himself, perhaps even talking directly about himself. He looked uncomfortable, even at the point he should have been relieved (GT no more timeouts and us with the ball). With that said, there is opportunity in adversity. Today through Friday is going to be difficult.

First rule of trying to rebuild a program – don’t make yourselves a national embarrassment and a punchline and generate at least 3 memes instantly…

Top 12 and has been that for 20 years with under performing players for 20 years.

I’m willing to give this staff multiple years to develop and improve,
"Five More" Manny got to you. I get flushing the poison out last year (should've been 7-5 vs 5-7) but if this one tanks you can't say they don't have talent.
Van Dyke, Parrish, Chaney, Fletcher, Arroyo, Williams, Skinner, Young, Restrepo, George, Smith, Rivers, Cohen, Lee, Mauigoa, Mauigoa, Bain, Harvey, Deen, Taylor, Bissainthe, Williams, Kinchens, Porter, Davis, etc. Good enough to beat GT, NCSU, L'ville. Maybe not Clemson, FSU and UNC but for sure those other 3.

Can't disagree. We have the talent but the mental mistakes are on those same kids. Those mistakes happen less and less as the same coaches get to rep them for more than 9 months.

I'm not sure Mario can get us to the promised land (natty) but college football is changing. I actually believe we are closer to a CFP than the MTSU team of 2022. This team didn't quit it just lost its F'ing mind in the last 30 seconds and the coaches didn't call a TO to settle the team.

Do you think Mario finally knows by now that he could have kneeled it 3 times after they got that last first down and won? Or do you think he still believes they needed to take a timeout after the 2nd down run to recalibrate and then taken the knee.
I think Allen Iverson went to more classes in his 2 years at Georgetown then Mario did in his 5 at Miami. And I don’t think Iverson ever went to class. What does that tell ya?

So the men are good, they just don't have a high FB IQ. And the people responsible for that FB IQ are the ____'s hired by the _____.

espn will never point out chaney was clearly down. they will run with the horrible play call.
Because this horrible play call is way worse and more unexpected in the history of college football than refs blowing a call on a fumble

when the game despite playing and coaching like trash was totally in control of your team and instead of escaping you put into the hands of idiots and then you cry about that? it never should’ve happened.

we have known the ACC refs suck for about 20 years now and doesn’t excuse why in gods ******* name did you not take a Knee

gtfoh with that

I had to watch the game on my phone and don’t have detailed thoughts, but my wife isn’t talking to me this morning and my head hurts. This sucks.

We all expected Mario to blow a game because of gameday blunders. But it didn’t need to be a national humiliation.

The UNC game just became the most important game in years. There is a real risk that the team loses trust in Mario after a botch like that. A loss can send the season off the rails. A win gets us back on an upward trajectory.

Salute to all the maniacs who still care after a loss like that. We are the college football version of Job. Hopefully, it will all be worth it one day. See you on Saturday night.

A national humiliation. Well put. We’ve seen this before and yes a beat down at NC could and probably tank the season. We are way too familiar with that scenario.

I literally just sat in my living room with the TV on mute after the game for nearly 2 hours just kinda staring off into space trying to make sense of that f_ing BS. There have been some epic unbelievable losses from Miami in my many years of being a fan but this one takes the cake. Nationally being laughing at AGAIN. You have to honestly try everything in your power to lose that game. My eyes could not believe what they witnessed. Seeing Matt Lee on the sidelines in tears asking what the **** are we doing tells you everything. HOW DOES ANY OF THE COACHES, cristobal, Dawson, anyone not understand the situation? How?!?!

The ONLY way to save the season is to win out.
For me, at a minimum they have to win these next two right off the bat and prove this culture is different than the last two decades. Every other Miami team would immediately fold after something like this. Let's see how mature this group is. But honestly i wouldn't even blame them for losing complete trust in this knucklehead coach.

The refs were bad all game.

Mario: let’s leave it in their hands instead of ours…

I just don’t think the man is very smart. Might actually be stubborn and yes …. Stupid.
