Monday Recruiting Chatter - 1/21

I'm curious who is telling you the UCLA dt reasons for comfort? Cause unless the " city " hes talking about is Westwood or Beverly Hills than hes clueless. I've heard chip doesn't even let them take that hour plus trip to downtown La. The other good one is bogles mother's comfort with us OH & tb being such a close family friend and factor with mar. Bogles mother was on record as loving us less than a year ago then she started seeing that sec "interest". Far as mar goes tb wasn't even targeting him as a rb target primarily till several months ago.

I think if he wanted to be a DB we'd be set. If he wants RB and we don't want to use a spot there, going separate ways makes the most sense

THIS IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.

ELAM is a longshot and they legit have had NO ONE come up or no new offers...so whats the contigency plan to Williams?

Like they are doing at QB, i would be "EVALUATING" and offering another cb prospect...if not we are back int he portal for the 5th time at cb lol

He got 4 star film thats for sure...that kid aint no 2 star. He looks wayyy better than most of the lbs we were after

I only blame the NCAA, I do not blame parents, although I think their message to their kid is wrong that you can be bought and inevitably sold.

My thoughts too. No doubt Bama boosters definitely play a role in a lot of their recruiting. But at the same time they're like the Patriots. Doesn't really matter who the position coaches or coordinators are, he finds a way to get sh*t done with undrafted rookies and cheap free agent signings.

Westwood and Coral Gables are very similar tho

Uhhhh that last part is not at all relatable to Bama. Their back ups back ups were 4 star guys.

I meant it in terms of the system. It doesn't matter who the position coaches or coordinators are, they'll still find a way to get recruits to commit. It's the system (and probably money) that they're committing to most of the time. Not the specific coach.

Because to Blueshirt you sit out the next year, so your scholarship doesn't count towards that class. It makes absolutely no sense to do it in this case.
