Rivals report on DE commit Cameron Williams:

Cameron Williams is no 3-Star

Three-star defensive end
Cameron Williams
looked like a Rivals250 prospect from start to finish on Sunday. The 6-foot-3 Miami commit was in the running for MVP honors and outperformed a number of higher-ranked players at the event.

Williams won the majority of the reps he took during one-on-one work and showcased incredible speed off the edge. Williams’ three-star ranking is not long for this world and in its final days.

New year, same story. The Hurricanes’ recruiting momentum is alive and well in South Florida, as many of the top uncommitted prospects at Sunday’s event mentioned Mark Richt’s program. Players such as
Frank Ladson
,
John Dunmore
,
Tyrique Stevenson
,
Mark Antony-Richardson
and
Dontae Lucas
all seem to have love for the hometown team. Every member of the duo mentioned Miami as a school of interest and each received an invitation to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas.

Miami is clearly the most desirable school for South Florida prospects, as the new regime has altered the perception of the program in a hurry. Last year’s No. 5 class was no fluke. That much was abundantly clear at the event, where the buzz around the program never felt far away."

We keep improving on the field we’ll start closing better, that 3 game losing streak took all our momentum and not to mention we signed all but one of our committed players on the early signing day. We fine for sure this year.

Mark Anthony Richards might be the single most gifted athlete in South Florida for the 2019 class.

From what I read he competed with both the RB's & WR's & could've won MVP for both.

Kid is a special talent. Ahmmon gotta make sure he do us a solid & get the Auburn talk outta here lol
Any projections on his position in college?

Staying power in south Florida, good article. It’s clear we have great talent evaluators right now. They are really ahead of the curve with prospects they are targeting. Watch how a bunch of the guys we have committed get bumps soon. Look at that cam Williams take, will be a 4 star soon. Look at Marc Britt. We might have 3 5 star receivers in the 2020 class committed already with Manuel, burton and Britt

Not worried about Richards and Auburn at all. He coming

Lucas is an absolute monster. If we could have him Donaldson and Scaife all on the same line in 2019.... oh lawd
Not worried but I don’t believe in a such thing as a lock. Auburn and Clemson will try to recruit him hard for sure
