Beat me to it. was just about to post. Wouldn’t have guessed that. Amazing what Guidry is doing with the current talent. Imagine what he could do with a tacked d-line with 4&5 stars. More high caliber CB and NFL caliber Lb

Except for the GT meltdown, defense has been great. I can’t wait to see what Guidry builds here over the next 2-3 years. Just need to pay him and get him some DTs.

Obviously Bain and Taylor have led the way but Harvey is having a very good season. He’s not the technician Bain is and doesn’t always finish his opportunities but he’s been vastly underrated by this board. IMO he was better than Kelly early on.

We were getting pressures beginning of season but werent getting home, Some QBs getting rid of ball or doing really good work in pocket (texasAM kid).. Nice to see us sealing deal now

if he isn't the main recruiter he probably will have ok defenses until they play the Michigan's and Suckeyes of the world.

No need to nitpick it
Not just the results but the way the team plays on defense. Have we had any targeting calls? Defense seems to play right on the edge most of the time though a few blips will happen from time to time

I will say I didnt know what to expect from Guidry but he has done really well with what we have. Plus the players seem to really like playing for him and like his scheme. The couple I spoke to before season spoke highly of him and said he was best coach they played for. You cant ask for more than that.
I was much more bullish on Dawson because felt the pieces were there, not sure wtf is going on with this free fall

Where is he going? Unless he goes to coach nichols state or something super small school Louisiana not sure where he would be going.
