He should’ve Ran uptempo the entire 2nd half. That should’ve been the 1/2 time adjustment by Gattis especially since T8&4 was gassed on defense.I don't have a problem with Gattis's offensive strategy. We don't have a lot of talent so shortening the game is makes sense. The issue I have with Gattis is he hasn't schemed his pass selection to TVD strengths. Running uptempo occasionally wouldn't kill him. Moving the pocket and running more RPO would help our personnel. Almost all of TVD completions come from not having to read through his progressions. Gattis's red zone offense can kick rocks though. Nobody can defend that trash.
Cant wait to read your post when you give it to these boys straight no chaser.. I cant do it they will call me mope and shizzz

For me, the Gattis divorce came with the Flea Flicker call.Bama has been throwing the ball around the yard the last 4-5 years. You don’t win Heismans with a qb and wr running the ball, eating clock. Saban evolved. Uga has some of the best defenses in history , they’re the exception not the rule. People have to stop using them as the example , we don’t have millions of dollars to buy 20 five stars lol.
They’re gonna complain. I’m not sure what good it will do given the level of talent we’ve seen at WR. More spread concepts in space would at least help create openings but they still need to catch the ball which continues to be a problem.I hope moving forward, fans don't complain when we run the ball more than we pass. We need to play to our strength on offense, and that's OL and RBs
TVD threw into crowds more than I'd like to recall. He was lucky not to have 3-4 picks easy. Receivers couldn't separate (no surprise) but TVD looked mediocre too.We have a Ferrari at QB and we’re running E-85 through it with this receiver group. TVD missed some open throws tonight, no question, but there are zero dudes to be afraid of if you’re a DC facing Miami this year. Pathetic showing.
They actually did exactly one time (the broken up pass to Arroyo that TVD under threw otherwise it’s a TD but they didn’t go back to play enough after that. It’s true. Man press is easy to beat with fades smh. Send the TE on a seem to keep safety occupied and you can run really any route (outside the numbers) against it because the defender is guessing more than ever.
Respectfully disagree because your other strength being ignored is your QB.I hope moving forward, fans don't complain when we run the ball more than we pass. We need to play to our strength on offense, and that's OL and RBs
Van dyke also didn’t look great in that game but gave him the benefit of the doubt.I take it no one else watched our spring game? X is our only WR who can catch!!
Can qb be considered a strength if he is not in sync with his wideouts? Yes this isn't the 90s and we don't have a 90s style run game either in case you haven't noticed. If we would have committed to running the ball more and passing out of playaction, we win last night.Respectfully disagree because your other strength being ignored is your QB.
TVD wasn’t his best last night but the offense coaching staff isn’t playing to his strengths either. This isn’t the 1990s and you will lose more often than you win if you keep playing this style.
If Mallory can’t block anyways why not just play Skinner? I bet he’s better carrying the ball than 50 year old MalloryGeorge played fine. He made plays when we called his number, although he can’t get tripped up by that guy on the ground because we desperately needed a touchdown.
Both Smiths were disappointing.
Brinson was invisible.
Redding wasn’t great.
Mallory played okay, but you can tell the injuries have taken a toll on him. He’s clearly lost a step. I don’t see the speed he used to have, and you can’t expect to get YAC with him.
Parrish and Knighton played awesome — so did the offensive line. We did, however, need Parrish to catch that pass underneath on that critical 3rd down in the 1st half.
TVD missed a wide open Redding on a crossing route, he’s part of the problemYou know what helps getting receivers open ? Not congesting them inside the hashes most of the time. Eliminating space versus Lashlee using space to help the receivers. We need wr’s but this offense is helping.
Ran it like he wasn’t expecting the ball to be there right when he turned his head smhSloppy *** routes is an issue most people won’t see. The deep comeback by i believe by 83 was an awful route. But it looked like Tvd missed him.
We need to overpay in the portalLuckily WR crootin is going well, right? Nope, Gattis can’t croot, can’t coach.
All of the top receivers off the board. Flipping an elite receiver is a pipe dream with this pathetic offense.
