Miami beats the Cuse... well....

anymore? are you talking about back in 2003 and are just now realizing how we've been since?

were we a serious program under Shannon, golden, richt, or Diaz?
It felt like we got serious for a little bit when we stole Mario from Oregon and made major financial commitments to win a championship.

But now it seems that wasn't actually for Miami but rather for Mario.

6 losses as a double digit favorite is a lot in 4 years.
0 ACC championship game appearances
0 bowl wins
And his November record is damning.

Not to mention MTSU, GT in 2023, and of course Syracuse last year after leading 21-0.

He should be on the hot seat and one more loss to a double digit underdog should be enough to fire him.

But it probably doesn't even make his seat warm at this point.

We're not a serious program anymore. We're "win with Mario or give up". Which isn't how championship programs are made up.

"anymore"

Two of the best seasons we've had in 22 years, but now we're not serious "anymore".

I didnt know we'd have 2 losses by now, but I knew when I bought the Pitt tickets (right after the FSU game) that that was the dreaded let down game.

who knows though. people want to ***** about 4 touchdown wins against conference opponents andgoing 10-2. this year is a let down but that's pretty wild considering the last 20 years
Potential back to back 10 win seasons for the first time since 2003 (I believe).
But yeah, we got another loss in us for sure.

I don't know what to think about trader. The dropped balls are inexcusable and will cost us major down the road. Something ain't right with him. You can't smash a blunt before kickoff and expect to perform at a 5* level

You forget we have one of the highest paid rosters, evaluated and recruited by Mario, better facilities and more investment than ever….essentially the program everyone has wanted. And we’re right back to struggling to win 10 back to back. And likely looking at an 8, maybe 9 win season. At least the last 20 years we could say it was bad because we couldn’t pay with the top teams.
Here’s the thing, The only reason we started to invest in football is because Mario said he wouldn’t come here if they didn’t take football seriously n he was their GUY..they weren’t going to open the checkbook for a guy like Manny Diaz ..we’d still be stuck In perennial 7-5 8-4 every year purgatory while looking like a FCS team when matched up against schools like Notre Dame & Clemson. Y’all gotta be careful what you wish for they might just decide football isn’t worth the investment after the Mario experiment 🤷🏾‍♂️

Stop the cap 🧢 Everyone body here was scared ****less of SMU, turned out to be for good reason..
Please, I had people arguing with me calling me a moper because I said nothing was “fixed” against Stanford. I compared it to the game against Wake in 24 when everyone felt better going into Syracuse after we lost to GT and then blew out WF.

Voice of the Mario Mafia is what that talk is… another Miami being poor when we want to be…

So now we have to hope it’s Mario or we’ll never be back? Pretty sure Indiana ain’t breaking records with NiL.

If anybody watched that first half n thought things were fixed they need their head checked

Need tempo
Need CJ, Fletcher
Need to see Moore get some fade opportunities
Need to see more Upshaw less Jojo
Need to see more Pingle less Lyle
need to see Pingle in the passing game
Need more outside runs

Want to see Gilbert get more snaps over 87

Have to see us beat NCSt and VT. I’m not sure Beck and Dawson can pass enough to beat Pitt.

It was atrocious and boring like @k9cane described about the slog mindset. The defense again (like Stanford) allowed the score separation, not a dynamic offense. We scored on 2 trick plays and a pick 6. And one was 💯 caveman Mario giving the finger to Fran Brown to be that guy. We’ll see if he is so creative when the game is on the line.
