Their new DB Coach, just came from Bama's support staff. Him and Maurice are fairly close.

Nick sabans personally coached dB's are lalways the worst part of bamas defense.bama Corners suck in the NFL. But y'all on here acting like they have such an elite group our guys wouldn't start there. Foh corn, Artie, Howard, red wine could All start at bama. Now front 7 is a tad different

first thing I thought of when I saw this was Dee Milliner locking down that coveted Notre Dame TE in the championship a few years ago.

We do! Don't confuse winning, great coaching, and schedule fucquery with overall talent.

Bama's corners are not like that.

Our CB's have always sucked in the NFL too.

Our best NFL Corner barely played CB here. LOL

dont really care if he is from bama or any other quality team. we need depth at the position and he got quality burn for top 5 team. thats good enough for me.

Bama gets legit torched by any passing team they play. With or without a running qb. They are setup and built to stop the run. Decent at best, Cb play.
 
I can't argue with that. I would like him too. The glorification of all things bama just rubbed me the wrong way.
 
Alabama's CB's are "system players" IMO.

I'm pretty sure Saban still plays nothing but Cover-4 and Cover-3. I'd think you'd want bigger CB's for those rolls. (I know I would, works for Seattle)

Those big a$$ Bama CB's look good when all they have to do is cover a deep 1/4 or deep 1/3. In the NFL they play a lot of man. Bigger CB's tend to struggle in man unless they're freaks like Patrick Peterson.
 
Maybe that's why our CB's struggled in the NFL too.

All we played was 1/4's during the early 2000's. (and some man with Ed Reed/Sean Taylor helping)
