You're probably right, but it doesn't matter. Manny is running this show like it's a big business - results oriented. Whether its his fault or not, you can't have the #28 ranked recruiting class at Miami.

It's about sending a message and building a culture that the standard around here is much higher.

@Redstate12 Can we stop with this narrative. These decisions probably have nothing to do with money.

They cant pay everyone... Doherty job was not to recruit players. It was to seek out talented players. He did that consistently. Richt and company whiffed habitually. Asside from leaks which is plausible freeing up money for others on the staff is not a far fetched thought. In order for others to get promoted someone else has to go.
