I hate people who think it’s funny. He’s a really good kid. I met him when he was at the ridge and obviously on green tree. He’s a Cane and he did his best. Pray that he has a successful life. You celebrated him committing to us. It’s real folks. It’s insanely difficult to make it at this level. It’s about a lot more than just physical talent. Noodles is a wonderful young man. Cane for Life

But doesn't that suck too? When you realize that either (a) you're not good enough at what you wanted to do and/or (b) you didn't put the effort, time in to pursue your dream and now you're at a crossroad in your life.
Of course it does. But, most college level athletes have to face that same reality at some point. It's a competitive world.

Really nice kid! It’s so hard to play at D1 football or D1 anything. Pope won us a game on a game winning TD and loves Miami how people wanna cut him down when they haven’t walked in his shoes! He’s the only one who knows his journey!
