Down goes Saban!!! Down goes Saban!!!!

He's talking for Miami to win, we can't let every elite recruit lose and expect to win

Thats not what he is saying and we never got all the elite talent down here. You have to get talent whether they are playing in SFL or bum *** Egypt

Saban, Dabo are winning with a bunch of non FL players

jimbo won some recruiting battles with the sec

it's not black or white

we need to win more battles to get better and after we get better

mario is the only one built for here. evne he is high risk
Honest question how do you know the other guys aren’t “built for here”?

What does that even mean anyway?

Is this more “has to have South Florida ties” bull****?

Generally agree, but if Urban Meyer were at Miami, he would beat out Saban for some of those kids.

The shady sh#t Meyer would pull to land those kids would make Erickson blush, and Miami would get the death penalty in 3 years, just after he fakes a heart attack, retires, then miraculously recovers to take the Notre Dame job.

look what it just did physically and mentally to richt and golden

I get what you're saying, but Campbell and Brown were recruiting 2-3 star Florida kids that none of the big 3 wanted. Not big time recruits with everyone in the country after them. And there's a huge difference between recruiting those guys and the Stevenson's, Ridley's, and Surtains and Tyson Campbell's of the world. Not saying they can't do it, but it's a completely different ball game than the one they've been playing.

The point is they have been down here regularly and have relationships

Santana Moss was not a big time recruit but Butch knew about him. Dan Morgan, not any more than a 3* recruit. If you recruit in south Florida you can find these gems, these are the keys to getting back on top, not taking Surtain from Bama, that will come later. Just like Saban doesn't have to sell Bama any longer, he just has bagmen do the work now, but he earned that right at this point. Butch developed players before he ever got DJ Williams to come here. If you show you can develop stars then stars will start coming to you.

Butch is the answer for right now.

You don't compete with Bama for 5 stars. The dude who was considered on that level recruiting wise was none other than Mark Richt (he earned his last name back). But reality is that without boosters paying recruits behind his back at UGA, he loses those battles to kids who want to get paid, just like every other non SEC coach.

I feel like fans have no understanding of the history of the football program. The key is getting the kids who are off the radar because they grew up in the Pork N Beans, who can ball but are skinny because they never had 3 square meals a day. You take the bigger DBs and turn them into LBs. The kids who have great feet you bulk up and turn into OL or TEs. The LBs get bulked up into DEs.

Miamis formula always has been and always will be:
Strength and conditioning+player development+innovative coach=championships

Stop dreaming of coaches that will supposedly out recruit Bama or the oil money schools for 5 stars. THEY DON'T EXIST.

this aint 1995 and those under the radar guys aren't so off the radar anymore

Miami can win with 2 & 3 star kids if they’re coached correctly which has been bungled for how many years now...

I hear ya but that’s because they weren’t good at their jobs?

How do you know Neal Brown (for example) isn’t a badass built for this place?

"If you can stop Saban from landing his helicopter here" What short of an anti- aircraft gun is accomplishing this?

Thats all it is, BS.
Agreed. Let’s stop and look around at the number of young, ****y, innovative coaches that are landing jobs lately. Are they “Miami guys”?

If they are smart and confident and can back it up....then yes they are.
