MaRiO NeEds his OwN GuYs

smaller coming out of high school, not as strong, tape isnt as good.

Simple really

That's what you're saying about Devonte Gordon? Compared to who? And since when is bigger automatically better? Who decided that his "tape" wasn't as good? Was he 100% on his tape? How did his competition figure into this?

Maybe your simple way of looking at it is what 247 did.

You think our kids are coached better this year than wakes kids?

Serious question.

Ive never said its all this staffs fault.

I think Wake has the kids they want with a 10-year system firmly in place. Coaching another guy's failures isn't as easy as you want it to be.

What are you talking about.

Why didnt bana, clemson, ohio state recruit him? Because he wasnt a special talent. He has developed through coaching into a good player.

So please explain USC this year?

What is it you see in this staff that leads to to believe next season will be better? I want to know so maybe it shows me the same.
If they had our linemen they would be undefeated. How else can we interpret that?
Youre assuming i think their lineman lost them the game. Im saying give clawson our lineman and they score even more and put up more yardage because our guys are bigger and stronger.

Because those three schools get the elite of the elite. I want to know specifically how their 3-star lineman was worse than any of our linemen. Like, not speculation. How do you know our guys were better coming in?

A resume that has 10 and 12 wins.
So you just trust their past results?

Sorry i believe my eyes.

Our players have not shown any progress from last year with supposedly great/good coaches teaching them now. We do not look stronger or faster. We are still losing games we should win.

Maybe that changes throughout the season and i hope it does. At this point it does not look good.

And why do you think "progress" is automatically visible in the first five games? What kind of magic wand did you think Mario was bringing in? And why did every coach at a successfully sustained program have a tough first year with mistakes and bad losses?

Why is usc undefeated? 1st year.

You still think i demand perfection. If we are 4-1 like we should be then the negativity goes away.

Im not advocating for mario to be fired. Im also not blindly trusting in him.

How many times do people have to answer about USC?

The target is always moving with you people.

Dont get me wrong i dont think we hsve the greatest talent but were are performing under expectations with the talent we have drastically blame goes on everyone my biggest concern is this has always been a mario issue even with game changers that you might only get a few times in a cfb programs history like justin so when we bring the better talent in it seems were going to see the same **** mario did ore lose games he is suppose to win and handcuff his talent

Look at the first-year coaches on that list:

Oklahoma -- 4th in bluechip ratio, they have lost 3 games in a row and just lost forty-nine to zero to their biggest rival
LSU -- Multiple losses, one to FSU, one where they got blown out of their own stadium by Tennessee
Notre Dame -- Multiple losses, one at home to Marshall
uf -- Multiple losses, almost lost at home to USF, almost lost to Missouri
Oregon -- Lost by 500 to UGA (no real shame there), but looked pretty decent otherwise (Mario's kids?)

If we're losing to App State at home in Year 5 with the 5th highest blue-chip ratio like A&M, or being blown out of our building multiple times with the 15th highest ratio and a tenured coach like Auburn, it might be time to pull the oh **** cord.

But literally every single first-year coach on this list is struggling. Some mightily, like Venables. LSU looks absolutely awful, and as much as Kelly is a lowlife murderer, he took multiple ND teams to the playoffs and has the 7th most talent, according to this list. He may not be an elite coach, but he's not a completely terrible coach.

Again, I'm not necessarily comparing these teams to ours. And not excusing the losses, especially MTSU. But first-year coaches are struggling here, and on paper they also have a lot of talent.

The bottom line is, it's too early to tell anything long-term, good or bad. We're certainly not off to a great start here, and the last 3 weeks have given me an ulcer, but what has happened so far is NOT INDICITIVE of long-term performance. Period. It is very, very possible to build a good program in the next couple years, even with what has transpired so far. UGA had the #12 class in the country in 2014, the #8 class in 2015, and the #6 class in 2015. Kirby Smart's first year, 2016, they went 8-5. They lost to Vanderbilt, at home. They've gone to a NY6 bowl every year since. Let's give it a year or two before we go berserk.

Okla had a transfer qb who got hurt and plays a schedule light years harder than us … next

Lsu - transfer qb who isnt even any good also plays a schedule light years better than us…

Notre dame- biggest issue coming into the uear was qb they also lost their qb and they also play a schedule light years better than us.. next

Uf- qb was what we would call a green tree all star question mark also plays a schedule loght years better than us…

The ducks have looked better bringing in a questionable qb that has looked light years better than last years offense

Now lets look at miami

miami- plays a cupcake schedule one of the easiest schedule in program history, miami’s sos right now ranks near the 100’s we brought back a qb that was getting heisman votes

See the difference?

Class is over
