Don’t see it getting better for Mario, recruits just like fans were expecting results this year, “Hope Recruiting” has an expiration date and he’s past due, so now he’s going to offer little to nothing on the field as a coach and a severely diminished recruiting class I don’t see the positives in keeping him, but buyout money is the great negater in this, in my opinion they said they wanted to be competing with the elites prove it by saying adios to Mario.

Same scheme as last year. Ward made it the best in the country. Miami has a more experienced OL, more dynamic WRs, and comparable RBs. So ask yourself, why did it go from #1 in the country to this embarrassing mess? Dawson and Cristobal didn’t go back to the drawing board after last season and redesign the offense.

Why wait? What would be the reason for waiting? Waiting on what? Why would he be given any more time?? 4 years?? Time is up. Hire a real coach like Brohm or GT coach.

Agree and it was all because Ward is one of the smartest QBs we've ever had that would audible in and out of plays and had the ability to make something out of nothing.

Ward would would've made Enos and Gattis' schemes Broyles award winning with our offensive roster.

Correct. Beck didn’t just start sucking this year. This is who he was at UGA. Only Miami fans seem surprised he hasn’t panned out.

We’re always a player away. Mendoza makes this team win #6. Last season I think J Smith makes us unstoppable, even with the defensive flaws. But he wasn’t a realistic option. Was always going to OSU. Mendoza is the QB that Mario would design on “create a player mode” including coming from his own Alma mater. But it’s just Miamis luck we miss out on the Columbus HS QB and pay a kings ransom for Beck.

That and our center was much better than Brock. Martinez was an amazing after-contact RB and teams were afraid of the pass, so we got away with more on the ground.

Fletcher runs hard and broke plenty of tackles, but eventually telegraphing every short yardage and early down play will bite you in the ***.

I don’t think the drop off at center and RB was so great it explains the impotence of the offense. It wasn’t just good last year- it was historically great. To drop this much is almost inexplicable, except if you realize the difference in QBs.

we were paying a premium, now $8.3M isnt gonna be much when Lane and others get $12M+ at EOY lol. Not defending mario to be clear, but coach salary inflation has been crazy

I vehemently disagree. There are few, if any teams, with the OL and DL talent Miami has.

Most folks don't believe their coach will get fired until they are getting fired. I've seen enough out of Mario to know he absolutely has to be ****ing money boosters off.
 
When he goes, the NIL collective dries up.

I don’t disagree that he needs to be on out to pasture, but the big $ is backing him…not the school.

Don’t forget that.
