Explain to me the incentive for a kid to leave now. He's not going to play anywhere this season, right? So why not stay on and see what happens? Maybe injuries happen and he's pressed into action and puts film on for the next team.

More so, why not stay and train actual football every week? You can argue he can get away and just workout but imo the practice is more valuable

Dunson has stepped up , he‘s one of the biggest surprises sense the new staff arrived.

I will admit I never expected much from Dunson. I’m happy he’s progressing. Will believe it when I see it in games.

Clarke and Curtis were always projects. Rumph wasn’t bad at developing CBs he just wasn’t landing top recruits. TRob + Manny combination was a disaster at developing CBs, so not surprised neither has emerged yet. Maybe Clarke does okay at another program and doesn’t have to play next to walkons on the 4th team? Hope light comes on for Curtis, too.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to enter the portal but he chose the absolute WORST time to enter. I would have thugged it out on special teams & garbage time this year then entered the portal next spring
