Another impatient young dude reading the tea leaves. You need a steady group of 7 DB's in your rotation as injuries mount. Plus, you have several that will move on after this year. Contribute on ST's, learn from your coaches and be ready when your number is called.
All good points. I would just add that competition reveals everything. In this situation, competition revealed someone not willing to put forth the work to improve and beat out those ahead of him. The kid takes the easy way out and what remains are kids - hopefully - willing to push themselves and those around them to be betterAnother impatient young dude reading the tea leaves. WhatMan I just spit my high dollar bourbon out
being the 7 DB is one thing I guess, being the 7th CB, you are not gonna play, lol.. I know we like to preach competition and how it was 50 years ago and **** but that was pre portal, this kid got PT last year, and now wouldnt see the field. We got blades back and Porter transfers in, TC is a renewed cat, Ivey is gods child, Stevenson is a lock, etc. Competition means the talent rises and others have to bounce or never play. Some guys want to play, you cant achieve anything if you dont gt film.. I said this would happen at end of spring, I was bullish on defense when most werent because I could see the numbers buildingAnother impatient young dude reading the tea leaves. Im more bullish on defense than most just because of bodies we are missing and being structurally sound and knowing assignments will have us playing at higher level than last year. Good to see Gil back in form 2020 he was one of best players then they moved Carter in front of him, smfh.. Dude was dam near impact player that year.. We need LB tho, we just have guys, at Miami should have some impact LB.. I think DB will be good, lots of bodies, wouldnt be surprised if some transfer out.. #95 is a problem and seemed to put everyone on notice this spring, regardless of him looking like walk on he made impression on coaches, teammates and fans..
I was there. Painful. What a mess of a game…#Neva4get
It’s a symptom of homerismHe was so hyped in here
He feelin the heat man...maybe even had his dream snatched

He was always a jag
He seemed to lose coverage a lot last year, easily faked out by the WR. The trait I really liked about him was that he was an aggressive hitter and wasn't afraid of contact. If he were bigger maybe he'd be better as a safety, but he looked lost at corner.I'm sure it was already posted somewhere above...But I thought this kid played fairly well last year. Just seems like didn't impress from Addae from day 1 of new regime.
Not one us, anymore? Fck it.

Getting a penaltyWhat was Williams doing on this play? He was deep enough before the snap to where he shouldve been there for the pick.
Still doesn‘t top the Canes defense on 4th and 14 play against rival FSU near the goal line at the end of the game last season. If you throw in 3rd and 17 against UNC in 2019 and the epic 600 yard rushing performance against UNC in 2020, I have to admit, CMD’s defenses have had the worst defensive breakdowns in Canes history. Clarke wasn’t to blame for all those breakdowns, but CMD was there for every playPlay of the decade
No he’s a jagNothing wrong with transferring out for greener pastures (though the grass is not always greener). We're going to see a lot more of this as we stack chips.
Too premature to be called a jag. He was a project. That's a big difference. I didn't think Clarke played well at all when in last year. But a kid that was not a natural CB takes years to bake. This would have been his third year, which is when you should expect him to begin to flash. He can still go either way. Maybe a transfer will do him good.
Message board bravado meets Miami fandom?I just dont understand how so many can come to conclusions/judgements and make assumptions without knowing a single fact about a situation

he looked better than Couch last year for sure. Couch was bad all year...DJ iveyw as btetter than Couch last year. Not going to lie , I thought he would see the field this year , I’m my opinion he flashed last year and looked better then Couch but I guess he had a bad camp , hopefully this mean our secondary improved.
Lol naw I think he would be the best corner at FsuPerfect fit for Rutgers, UConn, or Utah State
