Was he going to play? No.
Would he have given max effort in bettering his game had he stayed? No.
He made the right decision and you know what, that's okay. He could've tried holding on and been ****ed that he wasn't playing much, if at all. That wouldn't help anyone.
He made a smart decision realizing his place wasn't here. He should go somewhere he can play and finish his education. Hopefully he'll realize his NFL dream is likely just that, a dream, and begin working on what's next after college.
Is he a JAG? Here, yes. Elsewhere, he can play even if it's not at a P5 school. There's no shame in that and 99 percent of the people who use that term couldn't even be a JAG at any school. I absolutely hate that term, it's meant to be malicious and there's no reason for it. It didn't work out for him or us as fans, but have some class. Wish the guy well and move on.
