Malik Curtis in spring

But now with Steele & Addae, I think his best upside will be to be developed at CB, we need an entire revamped CB group & a kid with his natural speed & ball skills can be used at Corner. As many bodies as can be to keep the bad CB’s off the field, I’m all for it.

Whether he plays offense or defense, he absolutely needs to be a PR/KR as well, been saying that since he was a Junior in HS.

Yesterday Coach Mario & Steele mentioned him by name .. today TVD mentions him by name and states QBs don’t want to throw his way!

Last year on special teams and clips he showed toughness and just seemed like a football player!

Really looking forward to seeing him this year as a CB and return specialist .. I know a lot of CIS was high on him out of Ft Myers .. but to me he’s a poster child of Evaluating local players and banking on speed !! He wasn’t highly recruited but it sounds like we may have a steal ! Very excited about this development and didn’t know if anyone had some numbers on just how fast he is ?

I don’t think it’s coincidence either that soon after Clark enters portal .. The Curtis talk came out

Good post. Also, I think coaching really matters man and Miami has it now in spades. I think we’re going to see a lot of players stepping their games up because they’re being developed and being coached by a professional coaching staff.

Not to beat a dead horse, but coaching matters.

I caught Steele's press conference and noticed the Malik shout-out too. That's good to hear. I thought he might get lost in a fairly deep DB pool, but it looks like he's earned some PT this year.

Facts .. I also feel he has a different/valuable skill set relative to the rest of our group.

ALOT of people forgot how FAST those teams were and how much of an advantage that played for us.. It was a true weapon to have that type of speed all over the field and they trained in track.. Not sure why we stopped it when its obvious other teams have picked up the formula.. We should ALWAYS be the fastest team in America!

Will never forget them boys cutting up and turning it on in Orange Bowl.. trying to win with slugs is hustling backwards
