LSU Star CB “Greedy Williams”

We’re going to lose that game with a 17-9 type score. Our defense will be on the field the entire game

And I think their D will completely suffocate our offense. Theyre stout and Aranda is one of the top 3 DC’s in football. They’re going to load up and force Rosier to beat them with his arm, but he’s incapable of that. Also our shaky OL will get taken apart in this game.

I agree this is a horrible match up for us, I'm telling people this game will not be easy at all. If we can't run the ball things will get tricky, if we can't stop the run we'll lose (Sorry to say). Our QB will have almost no room for era. They almost beat Bama last season.

Missing 3 starters ok, next man up. That's why you have to have depth, I'm not buying the excuse that 3 of our players went down.

Yea we are -3 (115) at Bookmaker and -2.5 (-117) at Pinnacle (most other shops have Miami -3). I believe the limits are pretty low everywhere right now though. We'll definitely find out more in the week and days leading up to the game as the limits get bigger. I hope my prediction is wrong and a flood of money comes in on Miami, it will definitely up my confidence going into the game. I do agree that overall Miami has more talent on offense, especially at the skill positions and there isn't a huge discrepancy in the overall strength of the defenses between the teams.

You right Brock, we didn't. But we still should have beaten Pitt, we was gone lose to Clemson regardless. But I agree, our depth will be greatly improved this year.

Sounds good and macho for the internet but here in reality with a roster that Al Golden left...the facts are the facts.

Troy isn't a Power 5 school and they had a month to prepare for a one dimensional ND team but that's just my justification. I don't care if you buy it or not.
 
You can't be shaky at QB and on the OL and expect to beat this LSU team. That's just not going to happen.

And this will be one of LSU's strongest defenses in years.

Our defense can go toe to toe with theirs, no question, but they're going to be on the field ALL game, and will eventually break. Our weak QB play and bad OL play will kill us in this game. Their defensive will force into having a nightmarish offensive performance

Their offense is in a way worse position than ours. Remember they are going against our defense lacking talent at every position on offense outside of receiver. Bunch of inexperience on that side of the ball for them.

If he is the guy then Malik has to play steady he had enough moments last year and made some plays but was very inconsistent down the stretch

The oline blocked good in most of the big games we played they will be fine

I get it, but 3 players getting hurt shouldn't make a team garbage, unless it's a QB our along the Dline/Oline.

🤣Rosier look like Peyton manning!? Dear lord you made my morning beer squirt from my ears. That sir is a classic, Rosier is simply terrible and will again demonstrate as such against LSU. I'm not a pessimistic man, just a realist. As one said above, if we get ND Malik, all will be well. Time will tell

It sounds cliche, but we need to win the turnover and field position battles, and limit penalties. The low scoring, defensive games are chess matches.

I don’t like Richt the OC, but he is at least competent as a game day coach. He knows what these 10-3 type SEC slugfests are all about.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see DJ in the wildcat for a few series (its gotta be Malik that starts). It’ll likely be a conservative offensive game on both sides. Wildcat allows us to add a wrinkle without being too aggressive.

Side note: Phil Steele is on newsstands. Gonna pick up a copy and report back on LSU.
