LSU going in-home with Valentine tonight

Genron has me so rustled. There's always some bull**** with elite DTs.

Gonna be a war to keep him. Golden is an ace recruiter with no sanctions over his head. Bring it home.

Remember earlier this year when Jon Drummond said Miami wasn't getting any of his kids? Anytime a recruited/committed player has contact with Drummond of any kind, the probability for phuckery skyrockets.

Maybe that guy who has family on the Champagnat staff can weigh in here.

Its a different world now. Once you get Donna involved the entire game changes. Mark Emmert opened a can of worms that he wishes he hadnt. Genron just might find himself on the business end of an IRS investigation very soon. I hope old boy knows how to launder money well enough to throw off the federales.

champagnat's head coach is a cane fan. His brother i guess post here.

I think Hurlie Brown's connection here maybe too strong for lsu

Why do y'all jump to such extremes?

Just a reminder about our old friend Jon "Genron" Drummond.

"What also upsets Merritt and others is that some 7-on-7 coaches, or "non-scholastic coaches" as the NCAA labels them, are injecting themselves into the recruiting process.

For example, former South Florida Express assistant Jon Drummond told "Outside the Lines" and others that he was the go-between for Express players and college coaches. That was before head coach Brett Goetz said Drummond would not be returning next season, because he violated a "Code of Conduct" Goetz makes all coaches sign. Goetz's "Code of Conduct" essentially states that his coaches cannot use their relationships with prospects for a profit.

Drummond told ESPN that "everyone knows coaches are being paid something extra to bring recruits to campus" while denying he's one of them.

Many 7-on-7 coaches, including Drummond, drive carloads of players to campuses for unofficial visits. Some coaches are paid to work camps those schools host. Some claim to receive "gas money" from college coaches.

"And maybe something for McDonald's," Drummond said."

When people want to wonder how it is that many of these big programs have poached so many kids from SoFla. This is the answer right here. These 7 on 7 teams, their "coaches", "street agents", and "advisors". There is an entire cottage industry in So Fla of hustler scum bags selling these kids to the highest bidder.

Are there no investigative journalists in Miami? This has been discussed pretty openly for 15-20 years. ESPN seemed to spend 15 minutes on it and got some good material, imagine what a real effort would bring.

****, someone hire a PI to go camp outside the houses of any SoFla kid being recruited by an SEC school.

Miami New Times would be the one paper that would do it down here....someone hit up their investigator guys...i want Miami Herald/Sun Sentinel no where that those idiots are run by anti cane folk...they rather spend time tryna figure out if nevin sapiro gave our guys a sun pass or some other trivial bullsh*t.

someone email writers at Miami Nw Times an lets get this rolling. If not this is the chance of a lifetime for Pete and Tito to do some "work".

THIS.

it will take extensive work, but if done right, it will give them the job at the Herald.

and then, we wouldn't have to deal with Fattie Manny and Fea Susan

At the expense of ruining relationships with a number of people in SouthFla? Just because y'all hate someone doesn't mean they should too.

The kid has known Gernon for what 6 to 8 months and now Gernon is telling where to go? Hurlie knows the kids step-dad doubt Gernon is pulling the strings.

Would NEVER happen. How do you think Tito and Pete get their scoop? They are close to these guys and hear stuff through them.

Not a good undertaking for Pete and Tito. This would be the first useful thing SMD ever wrote...so probably too much to ask.

Tim Reynolds would be the best guy but they seem to spread him pretty thin.

No one is going to blow the whistle on it, because so many people are involved. You have coaches, the actual hustlers, the recruits, their families, and so if you blow the whistle on it, it could open up a huge can of worms in the community. The worst thing that could happen to us, would be if it became known the the U had dropped a dime on all these hustlers, and then after some b.s. news stories, it all just got swept under the rug and ignored. Now we would be public enemy number 1 with all these pimps who would then be going out of their way to f*ck us over with every kid they could.

Its a lose/lose situation for us.

Basically

If you start asking questions and snooping around street agents in Dade County, jimmies will undoubtedly be russled.

I think you guys are barking the wrong tree. I personally believe this has nothing to do with Genron. Valentine was a solid commit. Then the defense happened. Its no coincidence IMO that he considers another program when our defense struggled for the second straight season. I'm not saying someone isn't in his ear trying to sway him, but to completely ignore our defensive woes for Valentine's sudden doubt is not looking at the whole picture IMO.

We're busy over here watching Golden bring in the best class in over 10years. Take your negative *** back to the football board
