@RabalaisAdv: #LSU AD Joe Alleva declines comment on Les Miles until after season ends. Column up shortly.

Sounds like he is gone. 1 more week fellas. We need to make a run at him. He is making 4.3 per year at lsu already and will get a buyout from them for about 15 million so he won't be hurting for Miami. But if Miami offers 4 millions or so as it is being reported they will for the right coach things can get very interesting.

If he's available and we can come to terms, we would be nuts to choose just about anyone else for the job.

Love his defenses and hate his offenses. Its amazing how inept they have been on offense with all the talent he has recruited

No thanks.

No to 110 wins in 10 years at lsu? Lol

Given his recent struggles at LSU, what makes you think he would excel at Miami? Don't give me the coastal answer. The SEC is severely overrated, as the results this week and this entire season have shown.

70% wins in his conference, 80% overall win percentage, peach bowl, cotton bowl, sugar bowl, NCG victories, NCG appearance, top 15 7 out of 10 years at LSU. Has arguably the best staff in college football besides Bama.

**** all that give me Mario or Strong they know high school coaches in Sfla. LOL at this dumbass

Dude would be a home run. I definitely am concerned about the fact that he cannot find a quarterback...wouldn't be a short term problem for us but without a qb you cannot win big

Literally not a single good QB on his team the entire time he's been coach. Can't recruit? Can't develop? I don't know, but i know your ceiling is limited without.

Edit: Auto beat me to it.

Harris isn't a fit in Cam Cameron's offense, and the previous OC couldn't develop a QB. Mettenberger showed signs of improvement with 1 year with Cameron. Kaaya would be fine in Cameron's system, might be what Miles has never had.

Chill the **** out. I like your posts, but there is no reason to be disrespectful or downright ignorant. For the record, I don't want Mario or Strong. I am a lean BBB... Also like guys like Gundy, Patterson, Dantonio, etc.

Miles is a great coach, but his last few seasons have been disappointing. While his overall resume is elite, his recent performance is not, even with the stacked rosters he has had. It feels like he is on the decline and doesn't have the fire he once did.

There are much worse names being floated around out there... Kingsbury, Mario, Schiano, Strong among others. I'd take him. He recruits this area already so there is some knowledge of the area. I'd be ok with it.

Trust me we don't need him he sucks...I live down here and with all that talent LSU gets he should do much betta. They was talking on the radio and had a stat since saban last recruit left LSU hasn't finish in the top 10 under him I couldn't believe that cause u think he has done more but it's true he won with saban players and hasn't done anything else that's y LSU might let him go. We don't need his no coaching ***

My bad i thought for sure you were a guy I just saw post about wanting Strong or Mario the other day. You actually have a decent list and I agree with those you just listed. I see what you are saying, but wouldn't you agree that Miles may just need a change of scenery? He's a dominant recruiter, has had success in Sfla, wins games, hires a great staff, etc. exactly what we are looking for.

Wouldn't you agree that with names that are being thrown around, Miles would be a huge get for Miami? I'm all for BBB but this is just as good, possibly better. Give the guy a change of scenery and a QB and see what he can do. His team was #2 in the country a few weeks ago, he didn't forget how to coach. He's still one of the best. After he cashes in that huge buyout he may want to come to Sfla and win some ships before get goes out, and I'll happily welcome him.
