Lsu AD on miles

I like Miles, my only questions would be can he do it here without his "creative" recruiting, and can he get his **** together on offense?

*****es act like we're getting a multiple NC winning coach. Les Miles would be a home run and we'd be stupid not to take him here.

Love his defenses and hate his offenses. Its amazing how inept they have been on offense with all the talent he has recruited

Sooooo basically u like what john chavis has done and not les, les was a offensive coach coming from okie st but can't for life of him find a qb or put up good offense with all that talent that rolled thru..

Truth of matter, john chavis was truth and kept them on top a lot longer while supporting that crappy offense. He probably got tired since he left to Texas am this season.. Sure raise helped but I'm sure LSU could've matched.. Going to Kevin Steele from Chavis, YIKES! 70 point allowing Kevin Steele.. Lol

No to 110 wins in 10 years at lsu? Lol

Given his recent struggles at LSU, what makes you think he would excel at Miami? Don't give me the coastal answer. The SEC is severely overrated, as the results this week and this entire season have shown.

70% wins in his conference, 80% overall win percentage, peach bowl, cotton bowl, sugar bowl, NCG victories, NCG appearance, top 15 7 out of 10 years at LSU. Has arguably the best staff in college football besides Bama.

**** all that give me Mario or Strong they know high school coaches in Sfla. LOL at this dumbass

Chill the **** out. I like your posts, but there is no reason to be disrespectful or downright ignorant. For the record, I don't want Mario or Strong. I am a lean BBB... Also like guys like Gundy, Patterson, Dantonio, etc.

Miles is a great coach, but his last few seasons have been disappointing. While his overall resume is elite, his recent performance is not, even with the stacked rosters he has had. It feels like he is on the decline and doesn't have the fire he once did.

My bad i thought for sure you were a guy I just saw post about wanting Strong or Mario the other day. You actually have a decent list and I agree with those you just listed. I see what you are saying, but wouldn't you agree that Miles may just need a change of scenery? He's a dominant recruiter, has had success in Sfla, wins games, hires a great staff, etc. exactly what we are looking for.

Wouldn't you agree that with names that are being thrown around, Miles would be a huge get for Miami? I'm all for BBB but this is just as good, possibly better. Give the guy a change of scenery and a QB and see what he can do. His team was #2 in the country a few weeks ago, he didn't forget how to coach. He's still one of the best. After he cashes in that huge buyout he may want to come to Sfla and win some ships before get goes out, and I'll happily welcome him.

No problem. If he still has fire in him then a change of scenery is exactly what he needs. He could be just what we need. I just worry about his recent performance. I would be okay with Miles, certainly would prefer him over the joker names being thrown around.

What makes you think he is not like a Mack Brown? Just curious.

Homerun? U know what ur homerun has done since Saban's last recruit left. Finish in the top ten one time the fans down here been calling for his head most definitely not a homerun for Miami

Prior to Nick Saban LSU had won at least 10 games in a season five times. Les Miles has already done that seven times.

Hopefully Les Miles would bring someone other than Cam Cameron, someone who runs a power spread, but you're talking about Chip Kelly, Gary Patterson or Gus Malzahn as the only better options for the Hurricanes.

Tier 1:
Kelly
Patterson
Malzahn
Miles

Tier 2:
Herman
Butch
Babers

His team is young right now, the over/under in vegas was like 8 games at the beginning of the year and he started out 9-0 so they really over achieved this year. People think he's struggling because they were ranked 2 at one point, and now they are losing. He's being held back by bad QB play, which LSU has never really had a legit QB since Russell. He could walk in here and have Kaaya and Allison and be set.

I don't think he's washed up like Brown, he's just had ****** luck at getting QBs (luck or just can't recruit them idk?). All could change after this year, they have a good QB in 2016 class. I just think they would be stupid to let him go.

Malzahn has been exposed this year, he's not close to a tier 1 coach. He has the highest paid staff in college football and still is dog ****. Other than that not a bad list. Babers intrigues me as well. I consider him tier 3 though.

All you guys live in a vacuum of career record. Look how they play.

If you were good 5-10 years ago doesn't mean you are good now. There is a reason you are struggling at LSU, UGA, Texas, etc

Would take him in a heartbeat.

This! I think Kayaa, and Jack would be great with Cameron. Miles instantly becomes number 1a or 1b on our board as soon as he's fired, IMO. You know we would be a much more physical bunch. And if he had a real Pro style QB, u may see a better offensive product. We have the QB that Les needs. Cam could get back to his NFL roots.

Les should be our 1# candidate were he to be able - who else could possibly be better?

I think Gundy, Patterson, Dantonio, and even gasp Butch are better coaches than Miles. I think Herman has greater potential. Doesn't mean I dislike Les, but we are talking about a big time bagman program, with the best S&C in business, in a conference that blatantly over-rates it's "best teams".

I would be cool with Les, but he's no where near the best coach available.
