Can’t blame the kid honestly, but also can’t blame the staff for recruiting elite TEs in consecutive years.

yea, only 2 logical reasons...1) He made a mistake and was done or 2) He knew he was buried on depth chart and did not want to get hurt during the spring prior to looking for a new team... My guess is 2).
