How much do highschool coaches make? I wonder how they supplement their incomes..

Nah man, in this case, there is too much smoke. This school has been like Cryptonite for us since this guy has been there, and no matter how much a kid likes us and how hard we recruit them, they always seem to find a way to go elsewhere when it matters, and for years, it was to UF under Meyer. Its not secret that this guy has been slobbering all over Meyer for a long time. You have to remember, many of these HS coaches do this stuff in the hopes of getting picked up for a gig at one of these programs under one of these coaches. Honestly we arent that different, everyone does it. We've had local successful coaches end up on staff, Barrow, Solly, Ice Harris, and many others over the years.

No. The BTW situation last year was completely different and your attempt to compare them makes you look ridiculous. Last year was a combination of two of their players trying clowning us along with BTW coaches running to the media to start a print war against the program. Fans naturally got angry at the BTW coaches attacking Miami and responded accordingly.

Dwyer kids have found a reason to not come to Miami for 10 years. It's just a crazy coincidence right?

How tough was the decision for Jacoby to make at the end, Jack? "It was real tough. They're all three great programs [UM, UF and Wisconsin], the last three schools he was choosing between. His mom is a lifelong 'Cane fan, and she certainly saw a good opportunity down there for him, but I think in the end, Jacoby has always wanted to go to Florida. He's got his best friend, [former Dwyer star running back] Matt Elam, up there as a freshman, so I think that kind of won out."

Yet, in 10 years Miami always got great prospects from several powerhouses in Florida and out of State... out of Dwyer????
 
LOL@ you people thinking Jack Daniels has a hard on for Meyer. He ripped Meyer a new one when he ditched UF after 10', it was very public. They are not on any kind of good terms.

And after Muschamp was hired and Brissett, Clark, and Christian transferred out he said outright that while he would never tell a kid not to go to UF, but if they asked his opinion he wouldn't recommend it. The guy is a UF alum and he's sent kids to FSU, Tennessee, etc. all schools that are rivals of UF but you guys think he's steering kids away from Miami? So he'll send his kids to heated rivals of UF but not to Miami? My goodness some of y'all...
 
Im just as mad as the next guy that we dont get some of the DWYER guys....but i played for JACK DANIELS and graduated in 99...i played for him the first year he became the varsity coach....he has a heart of gold and he's REALLY upset with what florida did to the players that went there...
 
Just because Daniels teaches Special Ed. dsnt cannonize him for sainthood. I was in special ed for most of elementary school mainstreamed in Middle and high school. I have cerebral palsy graduated from The U 5 yrs ago grad school 3 yrs ago. While most are caring some can be ****s.

Yeah, just a coincidence we've been shut out of Dwyer in the past decade and how many has UF and *** landed?

Meyer gets one kid out of the entire state he used to own in recruiting. One kid. And that kid just happens to be from Dwyer.

Heart of gold though. Nothing to see here.
 
LOL maybe the kids just didn't want to go to Miami? That's not a possibility I guess. UF has signed 4 kids from there in a decade, that's hardly some staggering number.

Also Dixon was a huge UF fan, he's no stranger to Meyer. In fact since about his sophomore year Dixon was rumored to have committed to UF but then that whole thing went down with all the transfers and he was turned off by it. Y'all are a trip, its always the HS coaches fault. Daniels has had kids go to huge rivals of UF but he won't send a kid to Miami...how does that even jive logically for y'all?
