You would think he would’ve atleast tried a different position by now like safety or linebacker or “striker” just to see if he has a little bit of potential to actually get on the field… at this point just hang it up.
Where you at Tweed?
My bad, I'll lay off the Tweed bashing.Tweed is good people.
This has got to be one of the hardest things ever for a hardcore Miami fan. You finally get a kid (or two) that you've watched grow up, they make it to the roster of your favorite team, and then things don't work out.
People need to relax on Tweed. He did what he could. He's too old to learn the playbook and run the ball himself.
They handled things classy with no drama.Tweed is good people.

IMO, more athlete than football player.Lingard is a former five star, Mr. Florida, who has averaged a career 6.7 yards per carry in college. Still considered a bust. I have to wonder why he doesn’t play?
Education? At Florida?Hate to see it. Hopefully, he's been getting an education for a future career. It has to be a mind F to be considered a player who's going to be a starter and future NFL back, then ride the bench.
I thought he went into a portal and never came out.he's still in college?
Said he's a junior this year so one more year. redshirted in 18 or 19 and then Covid in 20.How many years of eligibility does he have?
I said this at the time. It’s best for him to go FCS, seriously.
As an urban teacher, I always stress learning some sort of skill. I hate hearing about former players getting busted for robbing or stealing because they had gone on to tough times after football. We can root against the player but have compassion for the human.Education? At Florida?

There is so much that should be done for these young men. For starters, make sure they get a **** education while at school. Secondly, make **** sure they understand that football doesn't last forever, and that if they don't save their money, they won't have much to fall back on if they don't take their education seriously. Lastly, teach them HOW to save and invest, and show them what happens when you don't.As an urban teacher, I always stress learning some sort of skill. It would have been a really good idea that NIL money could have been banked in some sort of interest-bearing account that would be turned over to the athlete upon completion of college. Idk if it could have been legally done but I also know that some players are helping out families. It could have at least been given as an option and schools can educate about saving. There is so much that should be done for these young men. That's one thing that really bothers me about so many so called schools. They do whatever they can to get these young men in, but don't get them the education they need to succeed in life. Many of them get so much help to pass, they learn very little. I would love to see former players welcomed back to school when their playing days are done so they can actually focus on an education, not football.
