There was one clear misstatement of fact in that article. Ozar didn't lose that election. The people he was attempting to serve were the losers in that election.

Why would anyone expose themselves like that? Raeder received legit death threats last year from Golden slurping mouth breathers. If you want to meet up and discuss the merits of the banners, I'm perfectly fine with that. I've met up with quite a few posters from both sites. I'm perfectly fine discussing disagreements. What I don't care for is having a bunch of knuckle dragging Neanderthals seeking me out because they're ****ed their boy got canned.

lol what an idiot...since the very first banner, every single one has gotten national attention. ESPN/ABC/NBC/YAHOO and many more...but yeah, banners did nothing. It raises awareness to idiots like jerzey and puts pressure on the AD to not look like fools.

you know what else got national attention.... us ******* sucking ****. Cause the banners made ESPN put up the "candy canes" screen shot. Al golden is gone because he was a terrible coach, end of discussion....

Golden got fired because of the empty stadium every week due to years of under performing,and generally putting a poor product on the field. In any company if you cost your company money because of poor performance you will get fired. That is the bottom line, not some banners flying. Of course those who wasted their money on these must tell themselves they had something to do with the changes, in order to feel the did not put their money down the **** hole.

Al was gone at the end of the season regardless of banners, but it did expedite the firing which gave the the U the time to do a proper coaching search and pounce when the correct candidate came along.
