Now you may be correct about them, but I would submit that 3 of them made public comments about the viability of Brown committing to UM because the 4th person (or someone close to him), gave them confidence in what they were telling us.
Which makes me wonder if the UM coaches are really not in tune with how many of the top rated recruits feel, and they are passing on that bad information to the people who give us information. Which makes me wonder whether we should all take a step back from making recruiting predictions. I’m not here to blame anyone, but I have to admit to being disappointed as much with the predictions as with the out-of-touch coaches.
What exactly is the point of hyping recruits who are so, so unlikely to come to UM?
