I agree with you, but your statements means the following people lack even half a brain cell;
Mario Cristobal
@DMoney
@Peter Ariz
@1murhurricane

Now you may be correct about them, but I would submit that 3 of them made public comments about the viability of Brown committing to UM because the 4th person (or someone close to him), gave them confidence in what they were telling us.

Which makes me wonder if the UM coaches are really not in tune with how many of the top rated recruits feel, and they are passing on that bad information to the people who give us information. Which makes me wonder whether we should all take a step back from making recruiting predictions. I’m not here to blame anyone, but I have to admit to being disappointed as much with the predictions as with the out-of-touch coaches.

What exactly is the point of hyping recruits who are so, so unlikely to come to UM?

I'm not trying to insult anyone in regards to the user's you listed. Mario has his own track record of blunders.

However, in regards to DMoney and Peter. Let's keep it 100. This is a business for them. They are trying to encourage board traffic and sell clicks. However, as I mentioned their information is only as good as what they've been told. They are just the middle man. However, they are going to monitor their delivery with the information given so they can encourage interest in the site and podcast. If they came out and said that our chances of getting Brown are slim to none and slim just hauled *** then not many people are going to want to continue to tune it. It's all about optics. I'm sure the coaches and our team of content individuals/deliverers on this site included are trying to keep a positive spin on things.

I’ve had Miami running third for Lamar Brown since May.

Understood. That was a general statement and wasn't necessarily saying you predicted Brown. However, James Johnson was implied in some of your other banks.

Yeah, they felt good there after the visit. Georgia made a push and beat them.

Phvck this kid. and double phvck me for thinking he was coming to The U.

Ok, I'm not really that emotional about this, but I wanted to keep my internet persona in line with CiS standards.

This list is extremely underwhelming. Mario’s classes here seem to be following the same trend.

We’re always blaming development, but I think evaluations are a much bigger concern.

Cant lie, kind of scary.

Let’s just play a good season and hope we Flip some dudes. We went hard after top DL and whiffed but as has been noted we have had many good DL recruits - yeah we needed some this year but we have many young guns that will be very good. It sucks but far from the sky is falling. Scott, Blount, Lughtfoof and Howe is an amazing DL which is what we should roll out after this year when Bain and Messidor should dominate. Let’s not lose sight of ALL THESE DUDES

The kid from SoFla who was a DT/DE, his name escapes me but wasn’t he drafted? My bad if I overlooked him. That was the first thing I noticed because I immediately went to DT.

Nonetheless, that list aint great.
