The same scrutiny? Probably not. That's the nature of the quarterback position.

But if Chad (1) crashes his car drunk; (2) loafs through his freshman year while getting called out by his head coach; (3) gets suspended for the bowl game; and (4) looks lost on the field, he will get plenty of criticism.

You can be a perpetual drunk party animal college QB and make a great leader ala Manziel and Winston just as you can be a stay at home choir boy like SteMo and suck as a leader.

So get off your soap box already and worry about yourself. If Olsen ends up sucking as a QB, it won't be because he was partying on friday nights instead of studying film. One has nothing to do with the other.

You're right about it not being the reason but you are mixing me up with others who posted that.

Again, I really wasn't trying to get people this heated and no one should be. I won't post these types of things anymore, definitely learned from this. My bad. I was just trying to see people's take on it.

People don't like we'll try, but let's be honest here. If the OP posted that Olsen said I got this, we are going to **** them up, there would still be 10 pages but the tone would be spring game sucked, shut your mouth, haven't played 1 game yet, really ****y for a kid who hasn't done anything, Kaaya is going to take his lunch, ******* Olsen is entitled.

Some people just love to beat up on our team and players no matter what they do.

You might be right about people still taking him to task about his performance in the spring final practice and his suspension from the bowl game. Rightfully so.

But at least they wouldn't be calling him a psuussy and questioning his heart.

When I was 20, I walked point manhunting, I had a squad I was responsible for keeping alive, and I was taking scalps.

I don't want to hear that siht.

I don't care if he parties, drinks himself stupid every night, or has the balls to go around kissing strange girls. What you sow, you get back in multiples. We have two more QB's coming in, and if Olsen falls flat on his ***, maybe it helps get Golden and D'Onofrio out the door even faster.

When you're supposed to be the leader - and most folks think of a QB as a team leader - then you have certain responsibilities. Self control is a good start. Setting an example is another. Providing a public image of sorts.

Hey, if you don't want the territory that comes with it, don't take the job. If he doesn't pull his head out of his ***, I assure you, things will not end well for him.

The good part? It's all on him.
