Does it make sense, thinking logically, for Perry, Weldon or Williams to transfer and sit out a year in reaction to Bryant coming to Miami? No, it does not.
But, does that mean that one or more of those guys won't transfer because they feel that Richt and the coaches disrespected them by bringing in Bryant to start at their expense? Or because they watched Malik get a bunch of chances to suck before getting pulled, while Weldon couldn't keep from getting suspended, Perry had a much shorter leash on the field than Rosier, or Williams couldn't get a chance to play while watching Weldon get suspended, Perry get suspended and play inconsistently, and Rosier suck, while watching someone his year, Trevor Lawrence, beat out the same QB that would be coming to Miami? Or because they realize, after watching our offense stagnate, while watching Richt blame everyone but himself, that they'd rather give it a shot somewhere else?
Ultimately, I don't think Bryant comes here, and so it may not be something to even consider, but I don't think that we can expect any of these guys to stay just because sitting out will waste a year. We've seen our guys leave early for the draft even though they shouldn't, and guys around the country transfer and have to sit out a year because they lost the starting QB competition (the QB at Nebraska comes to mind immediately), so I don't think that just because something doesn't make sense won't mean that a college kid, who feels ****ed/disrespected/lied to, etc., won't make the wrong choice.
