Kaaya

No one has anything to say about how he's regressed? Mechanics are different and his accuracy is way off compared to last year.

He moves great in the pocket. Only so much you can do with such conservative play calls. He looks good, you guys are crazy critical.

Coley didn't call conservative plays... This is Coleys offense. What we saw the past 2 weeks is what we will see all year. We now run the spread and TEs will never be a factor. You can't say we are conservaative while playing GAU and we dial up Flea flickers and such.

One flea flicker last wk and tn. Other than that the call s are very conservative. Sucks we've gone spread

This is what a bunch of people have been crying for around here. Spread offense is ******* lame. With that said, it does lead to more "exciting" offense.

Coley is a dud. He has no feel for the game. The most telling thing, we have been terrible, absolutely terrible on 3rd down since he got to Miami. Not winning many games with him and No D calling plays. All Golden really is a clueless dumb bich for having those two calling plays at Miami. 1 less day until they are canned

Dropped balls happen. GoldenShowers just had his drop last year.

What I'm more worried about is the fact that our WR's couldn't get open against FAU DB's. Our athleticism at the WR position looks very mediocre, not Miami-like at all.

There were times where we were in trips formation (3x1) and their backside CB was man-on-man with our WR, press coverage, and we couldn't get separation. That's no good. That should be stealing candy from a baby.

I only saw bits of the byu/neb game, but Nebraska's Dbs should be on our Wrs like white on rice.

I think someone said it best, we see now why Berrios was starting over Waters.
Recruiting all these big WRs that can't get seperation is killing us.

21-32 288 1td.
65% competition rate. What? Missing 2 of his top 4 receivers. He had a few off throws but his receivers dropped about 5 balls as well. He has better pocket presence and is playing behind a weaker line than the one loaded with future NFL players like he had last year. He looked very good with all things being considered

Do you still want Al fired ?

He's a pretty good Qb stuck in an awful situation. Although anyone who decided to play for Al made their own bed.

Hopefully he gets a shot next year to play in a real college environment.

People were trashing him at first in the gameday thread instead of realizing he was throwing to receivers with defenders draped all over them. The only time we had anyone open was with our backs coming out the backfield

Agree WR looks very un Miami like with absolutely no separation. This "new" offense we are running I hate. Coley's play calling leaves A LOT to be desired. I'm wondering if we're running all this shotgun because they have no faith in the o line to hold up with Brad under center.

It's this

In fairness to Kaaya, it's like Coley completely took the TE out of the game. Sure Kaaya missed some passes, but he made some darn good ones too. My biggest gripe is not using all of our weapons, thus making Kaayas job harder. We know darn well Kaaya knows how to find the TE, so why are we taking that option away?

WTF is Coley doing? I could not believe the TEs were not used.

Our third down percentage with this regime has been "exciting" alright, in a myocardial infarction kind of a way.

I don't see how anyone can be down on kaaya, you see the plays they call for him and the way his receivers play at times...

Sad thing is I don't mind us running these spread concepts but Brad is absolutely no threat to run and defenses know that. The next 5 defenses we will see know that and then I'm curious what Coley is going to do.

Kayaa is not the problem, inept coaching will waste another 4 years of a talented players UM career.

Brad is not the problem... at the same time, I see the same QB I saw at the end of 2014 - no progress which is on Al, Coley and Brad

He has no protection or weapons around him.

Poor guy might get destroyed against Clemson.

Our passing plays suck. Rinky dink. Went deep what, twice? Against FAU we should be hitting home runs. They aren't even giving Kaaya a chance to throw the deep ball. It's all bubble screens and swing passes to the RB

I love the swing passes to the RBs. We've gotten killed with that over the years. It's about time we start killing others with that.
