Jordan Lyle? (Is not hurt)

Can't wait till he has a great game against Central Michigan then proceeds to out snap both Pringle and Mallory combined and do little to nothing in ACC comp....

I genuinely don't give a **** how he does against Central Michigan. Whether he has success or not is meaningless this game. He has to prove it against ACC teams or be 4th in pecking order ... Which of course staff isn't going to do. Bet he is our starting 3rd down back immediately and all season...
It's just 3 games so quality of opponent can skew the numbers - but here's our opponents Run Defense rank so far

Stan - 88
Wake - 86
CMU - 92
Clem - 119
FSU - 90
Pitt - 7
UNC - 64
ND - 6
Duke - 19
VT - 8
BC - 98

It might be a couple games still before our running game really gets tested

Ive heard Lyle looked great in camp. Like NFL RB good.

However, im skeptical if that ability will show with the oline we have.

I'm sure he has looked great in camp - that's never been the issue. Look at last year when he came back to the fold. He was extremely tentative and just wasn't his former self. Now, this time around, he's coming back from an off-field issue rather than an injury. It will be interesting to see if he presses too much when he starts getting carries.

Over/Under 7 carries?
(For the CMU game)
Depends if Fletcher plays

I’d bet he starts this week if they hold Fletcher out, and that he gets more carries than Pringle and Mallory combined against Clemson and FSU

According to the owner of this site everyone looks like the next coming of God in fall camp

Shooter McGavin says above that CWH is hurt. Just asking for info on his injury, not his eval. At his point, any name with RB after it who is healthy is valuable.

Guy was our starter first game last season. Hope he’s turned things around. Coaches seem to think he was worth paying to stick around.
