Ive heard Lyle looked great in camp. Like NFL RB good.

However, im skeptical if that ability will show with the oline we have.

Can't wait till he has a great game against Central Michigan then proceeds to out snap both Pringle and Mallory combined and do little to nothing in ACC comp....

I genuinely don't give a **** how he does against Central Michigan. Whether he has success or not is meaningless this game. He has to prove it against ACC teams or be 4th in pecking order ... Which of course staff isn't going to do. Bet he is our starting 3rd down back immediately and all season...

It's just 3 games so quality of opponent can skew the numbers - but here's our opponents Run Defense rank so far

I'm sure he has looked great in camp - that's never been the issue. Look at last year when he came back to the fold. He was extremely tentative and just wasn't his former self. Now, this time around, he's coming back from an off-field issue rather than an injury. It will be interesting to see if he presses too much when he starts getting carries.
