I am sure there are still dolts on here that support Puke.
The clowms
Why don't we specifically define what Ol' Puke has done first? He started a youth football program that served to boost his own reputation with dupes and which facilitated his own financial entanglements into said football community? Funny how we never hear about Ol' Puke just doing general run of the mill chatity or "saving" non future scholarship athletes.
So Vilma is a sellout because his charity (that is public) only involves building schools in Haiti, giving $500k to UM, investing in the community here business-wise, etc.? You HAVE to dip your hands into the local youth and high school football world to be some great philanthropist like Ol Puke?
Your work in this thread has been impeccable. Vilma is bringing to the forefront the true issue which is what Luke really wants out of UM. He has no interest in what best serves the program, it is what serves him.
You want to know the real Uncle Pukkke? It is int he 1995 article over Ryan Collins. He dragged the player, the school, and the family through the mud over his own agenda of relevancy.
Here are the facts: Luke wants UM to be the stage for his guys, the players he wants to see playing for the brand he has convinced the world, and many inside this community, is his own.
He doesn't think a UM scholarship is worth anything. He wants UM to recruit practically every player he coaches, and when they don't he lambastes the program in public and in the community. Meanwhile, when he shops them to other schools, and they don't take the player, he just moves on to the next school.
He destroyed UM over firing Randy Shannon. Did he say a word to Texas when they sent Strong out of town for underperforming? What about UF when Shannon wasn't retained by the new, white head coach?
He significantly overstates his influence, too. Do you really think he was going to hand deliver Amari Cooper to UM? Was he really going to be the difference in flipping him from Bama and Saban to UM and Golden.
He makes Freeman a Golden issue, too, but ask him how much attention Randy Shannon was paying him beforehand.
He's a fraud, a cancer and a complete con-man. I am glad that Vilma, who's on ESPN, is fighting back and taking the reigns as the voice of this program.

Vilma the real sellout. What has he done to help the community?
I'll wait...

Ladies and gentlemen and that’s why Luke’s in this. He says it’s for the kids and the community. Bullshlt. It ain’t for the kids. He’s shopping the best kids to the highest bidders. Its strictly for the money. It’s for his cut. He ain't selling any records. This is how he makes his money. This is his family business now. Selling high school football players. He’s a glorified street agent.
Cooper was always going to bama whether they announced it or not IMO
That’s how I remember it. I also remember him wanting to commit but the staff and his mom told him to hold off in the summer. That’s how I remember it at least.Nope...Bama came after...Amari was under the radar.,,until he started tearing up the camp scene

I wouldn't go so far as to call JV a sellout, but somebody who was rubbin' elbows with one of the biggest Ponzi schemers America has ever seen should look in the mirror before calling somebody a fraud...especially when He was more complicit in Miami kids going to FSU than Luke.
Exactly. Puke regularly calls out Miami and its coaches because we dont recruit the entire Northwestern squad. Puke is an opportunist groupie.
Vilma is an actual UM guy; not the type to root for a kid at FSU just because he’s at south florida. Vilma is a real cane. His allegiance is with UM not whoever gives him the most attention.
So (allegedly) getting some handouts in college makes you a sellout? Lol.
This page is going on 7 pages and still no answer to what kids were STEERED to FSU.

Let me me make it real simple for some of you idiots.
Puke is a street agent shopping high school football players to the highest bidders to get his cut.
It’s not about the community or “helping kids”. It’s about getting his cut.
