The point flew over your head. Those coaches have to work their way up on merit. What the **** has jon richt ever done? Nothing besides being born to mark richt
The point didnt fly over my head.. i just think your point was BS. I believe what i said flew over YOUR head. Check the bold again please.
I dont believe he would be coachinhg HERE if Mark wasnt his father.. but to insinuate that he wouldnt be coaching anywhere or that he wouldnt be a coach IF Mark wasnt is father is just ridiculous. What if..what if.. what iffffffffffffff
you check the bold, are you having problems comprehending? if mark richt wasnt his father he never would be a coach foh. he got his first "quality control job" thanks to his daddy at UGA. or are you telling me that teams are knocking on his door to offer him positions anywhere else?
HE GOT THE JOB BECAUSE OF DADDY point blank
yep.. definitely flew over your head...
your playing the what if game so i tried playing along.. but by your logic nobody would ever be a coach unless their Dad was a coach...
Thats why your little game is so stupid. If Jon Richt was an independent football figure without his father(which translates to the fantasy world what if comment if Mark richt wasnt his daddy).. he'd just be a regular guy.. and your telling me a regular guy cant get a coaching job.
and yes reading comprehension.. I actually said it myself that he would not be HERE at UM if it wasnt for his father... but again to state Jon Richt or John Doe for that matter wouldnt be a coach is ridiculous..
ok im not going back and forth with you its like talking to a wall. your coming up with hypotheticals "if he was a regular guy"...well, he is not a regular guy, his father happens to be HC and got him a job on his staff. so no matter how you spin it he didnt do anything to earn this job. he got it because of his DADDY how many times i have to repeat that?
He is mentoring his son who by the way was good enough to get a scholarship at Clemson on his own merits. He did the same thing with Mike Bobo who became one of the hottest oc in the game. What better person can teach and oversee this position than Mark richt? Not many at all....
just cuz he got a scholarship to clemson to play football doesnt mean he is qualified. people here always trashing ex-players saying they dont know sht about coaching and just cuz they were good players doesnt mean theyre good coaches but now turn the tables and use it as a qualification for an obviously underqualified jon richt

Ok, the position will be coached by Mark richt as well. He has said he wanted to be more hands on so it shouldn't come by any surprise that he wants to mentor his son at this position as well
thats cool i dont have a problem with any of that. i am just saying that he got the job because of who his daddy is. if he becomes the next bear bryant, great!! just pointing out that he didnt earn this job, it was obviously given to him

True but for me I expected it, let's be real who wouldn't want to coach their own son if they had the opportunity to
hey im not blaming him, i would hire my son too if i could! just cant stand how people are trying to make this any more than what it is (nepotism)
Tbh bra, it's all about who you know in EVERY professioon if we are being real
