Richt didn't even let his son go to UGA.. he probably even interviewed him... he has to be serious about coaching and you have a ton of examples of coaches keeping it in the family..

this isn't a issue... its a good thing if that makes Richt comfortable... the last thing im worried about is Richt and his son being able to develop QB's...

I'm glad it's established that you can't post unless somebody asks your opinion. Please heed the new rule.

If i'm not mistaken art briles son is the oc at baylor. Mike zimmer with the vikings has his son on staff.

The guys on here say it's nepotism, so you can't do it. Tell Jim Harbaugh he better fire his son Jay tomorrow.

I never said you cant do it smart *** i just said that it was nepotism

You're a genius for pointing out that a man hiring his son is nepotism. How long did it take you to figure that out? You really split the atom on this one.

your not funny. you need to take that avi down because everytime you write one of those corny *** jokes i cant help but picture your goofball *** lookin like dabo in that picture writing these senior citizen jokes thinking to yourself that you are really something special.

There you are again with the corny joke critique. That's all you got. Fcking genius just spent 40 posts telling everyone a guy hiring his son was nepotism and arguing with himself. Now, he's telling me I'm corny again for the 300th time. You're the bottom of the barrel on a board with its share of really dumb dudes.

Love how people making all types of excuses and reaching to defend what is a clear cut case of nepotism.

Do people actually believe he would be coaching anywhere if mark richt wasnt his daddy?

Yeah, because what coach wouldn't hire a guy who's been around head coaches at some of the highest levels all of his life..... right.....

Coaches kids will get jobs whether their fathers hire them or not.

so thats the qualifications now for being a major college football coach? "being around head coaches all my life" like i said stop reaching this isnt a tv show, we are talking FBS college football. you dont get hired just because "ive been around football all my life" (unless your the coach's son)

your happy with the hire? fine but lets call it what it is: nepotism. nobody else in the country would hire him to be a QB coach with his resume.

I'm not happy about anything. Only hire i was worried about was HC, OL and DL.

We are set there so i don't really have an opinion on the other coaches because they don't have nearly the impact.

I think its absurd that we are discussing it. Mark will be hands on with qb's and calling plays. Something he's highly respected in doing. So why again am i worried that his son, who knows his own fathers methods, is coaching the qb's?

My point is nepotism with successful coaches shouldn't shock or worry anyone.

i didnt tell anybody to worry, all I said was he got the job because its his son. lets get real he is not a real coach right now, this will be his first year. people saying it was a good hire is bs, you think it would be a good hire for Alabama? UF? FSU? no, its only a good hire because he was the coach's son. not saying the world is over just pointing out that this wasnt a football move.

then why the fk do you keep following me around with your bs? you just had to come by to say slick ****. your humor is not for me, spare me that smartass sht and mind your dam business. maybe if you were a little funny it would be more fun, but that cornball humor is just annoying.

Why is Jon richt a terrible hire to be a coach?? He was just on an NFL staff that made a mediocre QB look like the second coming of Micheal Vick

The HC can't be your dad. That's the first qualification.

I guess because Deez Nuts said so.

lmao he had nothing to do with that he was a coaches assistant. are you sitting here trying to tell me that Jon Richt deserves credit for the Bills passing game?

All I'll say is Richt Jr. ....banda.....rumph and Hartly better be ******* recruiting grinders because that's what it takes at those positions. I'm talking 24/7 no sleep type ****. They aren't bringing much to the table as far as experience goes so they better get after it on the trail. Could they be highly effective position coaches? Sure...problem is there isn't a track record to prove it.

That's my concern with these guys on the trail though too. None of them have been in the grind that is modern day recruiting battles. Have you refined your pitch? Have you learned how turn up the heat...back off a bit?

These guys could turn into monster recruiters but to expect them to be that right out of the gate is expecting a bit much imo. Banda seems to understand the best based on his twitter acct.....we shall see.
