Hard to see anybody having the Willis type impact this year but maybe this will be the year Ford starts to reach his potential.

Oh and we need it for this defense not to take a step back. Would be huge to have an above average 2 deep there if we're not going to have Willis production.

An improved Ford and Nesta, Chigozie and one more DT on the roster stepping up would be HUGE.

Good to hear that Ford is kicking it up a notch. He's a Jr now, so it's his time to shine.

No one will replace Willis this year, but we should still be productive and a problem for just about everyone on the schedule.

Getting the DT xfer from UCLA was necessary.

I don't want to get too excited until Trevon Hill gets here in the Fall and we see if he lives up to the hype like we all think he will but if the light comes on for Jon Ford? Watch out for this DL. We won't take a step back this year.

With or without Trevon playing his best, we are fine at DE. We absolutely NEED a real dog in the middle....everyone last year outside of Willis were serviceable at best. We have been an easy escape in the middle running the ball for teams over the years since Forklift and when that happens, thus our DE over pursue to the outside to be heros and they run underneath them.

We absolutely would be dominant if we could shut down the middle with dominant DT play...not to mention the backers having a banner senior year backing them up.

Agreed.

The potential of our DL is through the roof. If Ford and Nesta can put it all together this year coupled with Rousseau picking up where he left off before he got hurt, our DL will be ferocious.

Hill, Garvin, Patch and Rousseau on the outside with Nnoruka, Bethel, Ford and Nesta on the inside. Stroud and Baker will have more than enough to wreak havoc with.

And they will still have Miller and the freshmen DT's grooming in the wings plus Harvey and Cam.

Glad to see us finally starting to rebuild the depth on the DLine to atone for dumb *** Kul's failures.

Not gwill..mac 2.0. He about to eat tho. We got savages lined up to eat. If all the reports on ford are true then we got him 3rd year here, followed by nesta the NY AND GA CATS in line
