Joe yearby, dalvin cook, and Trevor darling update

I get the feeling Cook is working uf.ag. He's gonna take whatever they give him for next few months then sign with UM.

On a side note, I hope Yearby's way better than Corch Smith thinks he is. Easterling was a bust, and Conley was a tiny role player.

I have a feeling that both Cook and Lane are trolling Muschimp, but I've refrained from porsting it. Maybe it's because my logical mind cannot reconcile Dade boys wanting to play in the god forsaken town for a declining program run by some goofy redneck. But something seems amiss.

The same way Matthew Thomas and Denver Kirkland trolled us?

I keep going back and forth on Cook.

No matter how much I try to convince myself that we will be just fine without him (and we likely will), it still would bug me if he ends up at GATA. Especially with his brother already at Miami and his teammates committed here.

My Final Conclusion is this:

We must do everything in our power to flip Cook.

I don't care what it takes. legal or illegal tactics (**** the NCAA). Get er done.

Problem is UF has deeper pockets and they are already pot committed... $$$$$$$$$$$

I'm in the same boat on that. I just can't imagine someone from S. FL actually choosing to go to that god forsaken **** hole to play for that mental cripple timebomb Muschump when they have the option of staying in beautiful Coral Gables and playing for a winner.

Not gettin my hopes up about Cook. dude just wants out, can't blame him because I grew up in Kendall and I got out as soon as I could so I can't even imagine how dudes from the hood feel.

Kendall ? You talking about getting out of Kendall ?? C'mon man ! Tell me ...what's so bad about Kendall that you "had to get out" ? Not Overtown...not Goulds...not Florida City (even that ain't too bad compared to many places) , not Pahokee or any of the others...we talkin' about Kendall ?

(P.S.:- that was the best Allen Iverson impression I could do at your post)

I wonder if cook is scared to compete for playing time. He probably sees yearby getting more carries than him in high school and worries that will carry over to college. Plus we still have duke johnson.

If the kid is afraid to compete, I'll be honest with you, I hope he picks the gators. We need kids who believe in their own abilities here in miami.

Negative he plays next to yearby at a equal level of touches

Obviously coulda transferred else where if he wanted to be the stud solo back

NO. Ask coaches on this board who know the situation with Yearby and Cook at Central. As others have said before POLITICS.

Nah yearby gets way more carries, that's a fact. Yearby usuallly gets his carries earlier in the game too, like a starter would.

I think cook has even admitted in interviews that UF promised him playing time, isn't that right?

He aint gonna get that promise from miami. He can't even beat out yearby at his own high school, I can understand why he would be worried he doesn't beats out yearby and duke in college.

No problem, give me football players who believe they're good enough to start for us.

It doesn't hurt that Yearby is playing QB 1/2 the time.

Playmaker. Get the ball in his hands.

Not a coach, but I've heard the same. Cook also plays CB full-time and returns. IMO, one of the reasons Central lost to Booker T is because they wasted all of Cook's energy on defense and didn't give him enough carries.

Not true but I won't even get into this because I'm tired of the Cook **** and I loved the kid going back to his optimist days.

You know better than me. I just heard rumors.

how would one of the "experts" compare joe yearby to davonta freeman in high school

This might be shocking to you, but some people don't want to live in Giant strip malls where public transportation is useless, people are rude, traffic is so bad its better not to drive anywhere between 2-7 pm, the parks are in ****** condition, the music scene sucks, and you can't smoke, have, or grow pot.

I didn't grow up in the hood but my point was, If I couldn't wait to get out of the decent part of town I'm from, I can't imagine how ready to jet somebody from the hood would be.

i understand recruits getting out miami for change of scenery and to leave the hood.

what i don't understand is when they leave miami for other cities in FL.

it's not a change of scenery at all.

if they truly want a change of scenery, they should go somewhere out of state.
