LSU is firing Les for obvious reasons. Have you guys watched his teams the last few years? What makes you guys think he can win championships at UM when he can't beat a bunch of mediocre SEC teams the last few years? He can hire anyone he wants at LSU and has access to top 5 recruiting classes every year at LSU. What would the variable be that would make him have better results here?

This. I would take Butch over Les. Some convincing arguments as to why he wouldn't be as good here.I'm not a Butch Davis cult member, but I'd take Butch over Les 100 out of 100 times.
Interesting connection: Joe Dean, the former LSU AD, tried to hire Butch away from UM in the late 90s. Butch turned him down because he told Dean that his ultimate goal was to be a HC in the NFL and that he could get there more easily coaching at UM.
Yeah, the more I actually think about Les as a candidate, the more I see what Franchise and others are saying.This. I would take Butch over Les. Some convincing arguments as to why he wouldn't be as good here.I'm not a Butch Davis cult member, but I'd take Butch over Les 100 out of 100 times.

Would Les bring LSU's lack of academic standards and boosters capable of putting up a $15MM buyout?
You sound like bomb when he used to defend Coker by quoting his overall record and dropping the ***** shaped mic. Try engaging in an actual conversation. Ok. He might win the Coastal. Then what? Is that where we want to peak as a program?LSU is firing Les for obvious reasons. Have you guys watched his teams the last few years?

Can't think of one. Other than possibly the coastal
Jimbo isn't gonna go to LSU and have to compete with bama and those other programs. His one obstacle per year is Clemson. He's got a good thing going, no reason for him to leave
You can get a hungrier better version of Les for half the price. His name is Butch Davis. This Les Miles **** has me scratching my dome.This. I would take Butch over Les. As much as I'd love to have Butch, I'd laugh my a$$ off is somehow LSU were to get Butch.
Or if LSU pulls in Jimbo, that Butch goes to FSU.
To prove a point.
That's not even remotely funny.
He would kill college football.
Les Miles lost 3 games in 2013 with this....
Jeremy Hill
Odell Beckham Jr.
Jarvis Landry
Alfred Blue
Zach Mettenberger
Barkevoius Mingo
Eric Reid
Kevin Minter
etc.
With John Chavis as DC and Cam Cameron as OC.
How is that possible?
