LSU AD came out and said they wouldn't lose any coach due to money lol
We grew up together in the Broward area and played baseball against each other for a while up until high school (I went to Flanagan, he went to Everglades). We have a bunch of mutual friends who stay in contact with him. He grew up a pretty big canes fan and as recently as last year admitted his goal was to get back to Miami as a coach.
Granted it seems like a pie in the sky fantasy right now, but what do we have to lose by offering him the keys to the offense for the team he grew up rooting? Fire Enos and give Brady $1.5 million/year plus the OC title
Lmfao at not seeing how BAD LSU has been on offense for yearsJoe Brady has never called plays. Never been a OC...he comes here he doesn’t fix this offense in a year..it’s like getting Aids then buying condoms In hopes of preventing HIV..our problem is this oline doing its best to assure a defensive of end has a career day
Slurper getting defensiveHe’s a great offensive mind..if he comes here he will take off-ense to what we have up front..then y’all will be calling for his head to..unless this line learns how to play within the next couple months
You realize Brady isn’t the OC at LSU correct?
I feel that lol..that hurtSlurper getting defensive
They’ve never been bad at the LOS tho..never. We need to upgrade personnel upfront..been there way since the end of 17Lmfao at not seeing how BAD LSU has been on offense for years
theyve been a DECENT offense away from competing for championships with their usually EliteDefense and skill players on offense that always leave for the 1st round
When you are more talented than the man in front of you why does coaching or scheme have to come into play? It doesn't matter what the coach calls when you're better than the person. It should always work decent and more often times than not work well if you're more talented.Yea, Enos does so much to help those guys out.
So this guys has Texas wanting him, LSU willing to spend everything to keep him but a dude with a 15 post message count says Miami, L. O. L.
#SauceSeason
Where in my post did you see this one and only coach savior? Lol.. You project much buddy or did you just randomly quote any post to type up your spiel?! LMAOContinue to sit here and think of pie in the sky scenarios in which someone who is doing this as a career would leave a place like LSU, where you are basically one phone call away from getting anything you want, to come to Miami.
This "Only this one particular coach can save us" crap is one of the many reasons why Miami fans are looked upon as morons. Miami can and should upgrade at OC, and there are plenty of coaches that could get the most out of the talent available, and they can do it at a price point that makes sense to where Miami can upgrade at other crucial spots too.
Chad Morris(Outstanding play caller at Clemson, did well at SMU as well. Miami wouldn't be on the hook for much because Arkansas will be paying any difference)
G. Harrell(Up and coming OC that will be on the market soon, if not so already. Not going to command a huge salary, because USC was mediocre this year, despite him doing a **** good job with what was available)
Those are the names Miami should be going after, maybe Yost at TTU too(He probably realizes that program is a joke, and a career killer), instead of hoping that Brady does something completely and utterly irrational by making a backwards move to Miami. The only way Brady leaves LSU is for an NFL OC gig, or a college HC spot. There's no reason to leave, especially seeing that Coach O isn't paying one iota of attention to what he is doing. Guy has full autonomy, at a school in which talent will never be an issue.
This guy's stock is rocketing, but this isn't a hire Manny should make. He's a 30 year old coach with very limited experience and has never called plays. Manny is on thin ice. He needs to hire someone with a proven track record. He can't hire an unknown. Under different circumstances he could take a chance, but not now, not after this season.
They were looked at as an inferior OL when their offense was garbage and predictable. Sound familiar? They’ve never been bad at the LOS tho..never. We need to upgrade personnel upfront..been there way since the end of 17
Disagree. Nobody established is going to coach under Manny. His only hope is to hit the lottery with an up and coming OC.
Manny would sooner bring Wayne Brady home to Coral Gables.
