Those guys run a bad scheme at IMG, but they have the pleasure of running behind D1 Olines without much traffic.

For Cain and Gibson, they’ve never learned how to run thru contact in traffic.

A few years ago, I wanted the kid who’s starting to really pick it up at UGA (Bowens). This year, that’s Mallory and that new kid from GA.

I’d rather have a guy who can get me 10-20yds a few times a game by running in traffic than some dude who hits for 75 once a season.

I was just asking about Gibson too on the site. His stock fell his Sr year. He was the #1 RB in the country going into his Sr year. Looks like a kid who maxed out in college behind a **** good OL at IMG.

When you have an NFL OL life ain't hard for an RB.

We need to make sure we keep the ones we want and i wouldn’t be shocked to see fletcher come back. What round is he realistic going in . Nil Money Changes things . Martinez $$ Nil > practice squad . I bet he got paid more here what yall think ? I would send some of those RBs who will never see the field across the street

I actually think journeyman NFL backs are more impactful in the NCAA than ppl think.

We've had a lot of great back here in the past 15 years that aren't exceptional in the NFL, and they were great for us.

Exactly; I stop going strictly by star ratings for a while. I believe in stars, don’t get me wrong, but when certain HS programs have a decided advantage b/c they r hoarding talent, I now need to examine ur comp, ur scheme, & physical traits. I’m not just talking being 6’0 & 215 running a 4.4; I’m talking the ability to break tackles, the ability to stop & go, decelerate while accelerating, vision, lateral quickness, etc.

I’ve seen way too many guys look the part, play at a program where they are The Dallas Cowboys facing The Little Giants, & when they get on campus facing other elite players, they can’t cut it. As a matter of fact, when I get some time I need to examine to success & bust ratio of the blue chip IMG players b/c there’s others coming to mind at various positions.
