You gotta good point my man but everyone is different. I'm 30 now and I'm sure as **** wasn't the same person maturity wise as I was at 20 years old

Correct. Nobody is as wise as 20 as they will be at 30, and so on and so on.

I added Steve Smith as an example because he’s a guy that takes a bad attitude and uses that to his advantage makes it into a good attitude - me vs the world. That guy is full of **** and poison but he uses it, to make himself better competitor.

I actually feel sorry for him. He’s confused and just won’t listen to anybody, I’m pretty sure. Plus we have too many of our guys making bad decisions and leaving early. Put that all together and that’s bad news for him. The other guys generally have better attitudes and are better decision makers, so they stand a better chance.

If you were 5’8 170 running a 4.5 with a string of off field issues AND subpar running routes... wouldn’t you want the best to represent you to? Lol. That’s like getting caught with the murder weapon and going to court with a public defender. Not saying Pete is on a PD level... but you know.

Sure, but Drew is nowhere near "the best". Might be one of the scummiest though.

I don’t know how Many times that I can say this but the coaching has been bad no doubt but some of these kids are not as good as yall hyped them up to be. Just cus yo uncle coached them in little league does not mean that they are superstars
What exactly MAKES A KID THAT GOOD? What is the coaches job when it relates to these kids?

sorry, i don't feel sorry for him. why should we?
Nobody says you have to feel sorry for him.

I just do because I have a bad feeling about the direction his life is going to take. I hope I am 100% wrong.

We’ve had other guys that entered the draft too early, thereby making a tactical career mistake. But most of those guys still have a pretty good head on their shoulders and go on to do whatever, and be productive members of society.

Me feeling sorry for him does not negate the fact that we all have to accept responsibility for our actions.

Here's to not expecting much, but hoping he exceeds expectations. Kudos to the young man for making it this far in life, considering the environment from which he came.
Sure, but Ike and Tina Turner are from East St Louis too, they managed aight
