Jarren Williams

Not really.

If he goes JUCO for a semester he'll be immediately eligible to play the following Spring, so instead of having to sit out a year, sometimes transfers will go JUCO or to a FCS school & then re-enter their name into the portal.

It's the easiest way to transfer & be able to play right away without getting a waiver.
**** I wish I was smart

How the mighty have fallen. I hope he can sort it out and make the best of the opportunity. There was a saying growing up I heard often “what you do in the dark comes out in the light.” Let’s hope he learned from his time at Miami. I am hoping he will excel.

Story of my life when I used to go out to the club

If everyone knows about his issues in our fan base you know other programs do too.
It should be a cautionary tale for others, though we know it likely won't be. I still think he's a talented passer and I think the "decision" to go to JuCo is almost entirely about his only option to rehabilitate his perceived value.

Even though we were 0-2 at the time, if you had told me after the UNC game this would be Jarren's fate 9 months later I would have told you you're crazy.

What a massive fall from grace for a kid I still think is super talented. Hope he can get his head right and salvage his remaining eligibility.

He has to stop smoking weed.

Kid was a starter last year, now has to go the juco route cause no team wanted him. tells you alot about the QB play last year.

Guy was afraid to get hit.
watch any game and he hears footsteps and ball goes, somewhere other then His receivers hands, that’s on top of average at best pocket presence and accuracy.
Jon Richt an evaluation was complete garbage, none of the qbs they brought in are even ok.

I think it's more of a strategy move so he doesn't have to redshirt (See Liberty's post). Cam Newton went to JUCO and it worked out well for him.

If you are talented enough P5 teams will find a way to get a waiver approved, however, there are certain characteristics a QB can't possess. JW's ongoing maturity issues were his undoing at UM. It will be interesting to see if he can repurpose himself and salvage his career.

I guess Western Kentucky fell through for him. I wish him the best of luck. Just lay off the weed until you graduate.
