Jake Garcia gets a visit from Lashlee

Then he’s a pretty talented game manager big dawg. I think you’re getting what he asked to do confused with what he can do. He’s got a rocket and he’s smart. If they told to go win a game he could absolutely do it.

Yeah; well, he’ll be the first Narbonne QB ever to do well at the next level. He could very well break their jinx.

just saw this. pretty dope edit. especially working Brinson and Brantley in and the Cane clips...
I'll be completely honest... It's not that I personally want him so bad at the U. I haven't really watched clips of him to determine myself if he's a good qb or not. It's mainly the fact that I want to see someone commit to us mainly because our other commits want him. We need to have that type of strong influence in the recruiting game were our commits are helping out and putting in work not just behind the scenes.

The players know who the other ballers are. He’s definitely a good QB prospect (some higher on him than others) but the fact that Brinson really wants him to be his QB is telling.

I don’t know if Garcia is good or not. What I will say is, Lashlees offense is very QB friendly so we should be good wether it’s Kosi, TVD, Garcia or some transfer.

It’s wide open, quick reads and allows for an athletic QB to use his legs.

**** Lashlee learned from a guy who had Nick Marshall go to a national championship. Let me repeat that. A WR playing QB took a team To a national championship in an offense similar to what Lashlee will run.

We'll get a fine QB this cycle whether it's Garcia or someone else.

Not too concerned about that.

I'm more interested in seeing if we can get the top DT out of Palmetto.

Always need to keep the top local DTs - and then develop them.

Just a few classes ago we got Silvera - the #2 DT in the country.

Hopefully he'll produce at that level in his final 2 years - and even more, hopefully we find out that Stroud can develop kids to produce at a high level consistently.

I’ve mentioned this before; and I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I’m not high on Garcia. There’s a reason SC took Moss.

Garcia plays at Narbonne while Moss plays at Mater Dei. One plays a local, now pedestrian schedule; the other plays a national schedule. One plays at a school that hasn’t produced a star in a while, the other plays at a school known for CFB and NFL stars.

Garcia lost his 5th star; there’s a reason.
His first yr starting, he put up 2100 yrds w/ 15 TDs and 5 ints against a lackluster schedule.
Miller put up 3100 28 TDs and 10 ints against a top end schedule.

Just never been high on the kid. If we picked him up, it would good from a star rating standpoint; but again, he lost his 5th star....keep that in mind before we pour champagne on ourselves

Sophomore year guy. And I think someone said he was injured that year.. He obviously improved last year.

Thank you for the info. TVD is an athlete and a big boy. Very good natural tools.

So is Matocha I am thinking he could keep plugging away an surprise a lot of people.

But I still want Miami to flip Jake Garcia or a taller very accurate passing QB.

Go Canes

This. Chaney’s face watching Garcia work out and Brinson’s reaching out on twitter after seeing Garcia throw in person is telling enough. Would love to abuse teams stretching them out and just beat them deep with Pope and Payton, we need a guy with a cannon for that.

Spot on 🙌

Tell me you did see the huddle break and as we lined up didn’t say look 👀 single coverage WR with LB on our TE , check it off GO DEEP.
BUT inside weren’t confident we could make the throw or catch it.

I miss those days.

You knew Jim Kelly saw it an Eddie Brown saw JK face BOOOOM.

I think Milroe is a better but he is a long shot. I’d be surprised if they take Garcia before the season starts.

Why lol? You’re not gonna take a top 5 QB in the country lol? Milroe was never a real option even though they were recruiting him. Texas paid a lot of money to secure that commitment and they’re gonna get a return on that investment.
