USC thread today..

Many wonder if Garcia will maintain his commitment to USC. Publicly, Garcia is talking the talk of a solid commit to USC, and although more than a few sources acknowledged earlier in the spring that he would de-commit if Moss came aboard, there has been a change of tune…mostly.

From Garcia’s side, there is a genuine belief that he is better than Moss. Obviously, that sentiment isn't shared by Moss or he would not have committed to USC. But one source also acknowledged that there is a wait-and-see attitude with Garcia and his comfort level being a part of a two-quarterback class. Moss is all-in and really has been with USC for a while now. From what we gather, actions will speak louder than words for Garcia.

Put a good offensive product on the field, win 10 games or more, get people excited about Miami, and sell him on being the guy that really brings QB U back in South Beach!

Sell him on playing with the young skill talent you have brought in and are bringing in!

It was USC AD Pat Hayden who said something like “I support all of our coaches until they are no longer our coach” after he fired somebody a day after giving a vote of confidence.

In this case, Garcia is a USC commitment until he is not. In the meantime, he will send all signals that he is fully onboard. But, you better believe the situation is being re-evaluated privately.
