It's a down year for OL, and they didn't want to compete with the 5* we signed 4 years ago.

to be fair, UGA had 3 OL drafted in the most recent draft (1 second and 2 thirds). It’s not a Miami vs Georgia or vs Oregon thing. It’s a Mirable and Mario vs UGA and Oregon thing. Mirable and Mario are clearly better. By the way, Mario constructed the Oregon line that you talk about. Kirby Smart knows nothing about Oline compared to Mario
**** the 5 star we signed 4 years ago can’t even get on the fieldIt's a down year for OL, and they didn't want to compete with the 5* we signed 4 years ago.
Let’s not forget Tyler Booker as Mario at one point coached Bama’s OL too…

All jokes aside I said somewhere else Mauigoa was better than both these guys at this point but we gotta land one though after all this. We’ve got no LT left after we lose the entire line on Day 1 of the draft
I see big money going to two portal starters next year.Gonna be in the portal for at least starting Oline jobs next year unfortunately
They had guys miss two and three games but literally every team has injuries. Our starting left tackle missed half the season. Our starting LG got hurt in week one and missed the rest of the year.Injuries were a major factor to their OL last year

The Georgia offensive line has become an issue. How did we get here?
ATHENS — One of the key pillars of the Georgia program under Kirby Smart has been elite offensive line play. The Bulldogs have regularly been finalists for the Joe Moore Award and have become an assembly line for the NFL at the position.www.dawgnation.com

2024 was a terrible recruiting cycle at OL with Plazz as the top rated guy we got other than Bell
SJ and more projects in 2025
I think the portal is a good option for any position but some of these guys gotta make the two deep legit
It’s perplexing how many projects get recruited at OL when you are a OL based coachAll we got left is Samson and Kinsler from 2023

Georgia was a Joe Moore finalist in 2022 and 2023 - those same lineman that just got draftedThey had guys miss two and three games but literally every team has injuries. Our starting left tackle missed half the season. Our starting LG got hurt in week one and missed the rest of the year.
I’m probably in the minority here but I don’t look at much that has happened in college football before 2023It’s perplexing how many projects get recruited at OL when you are a OL based coach
It should be like how Ohio State recruits WRs
Why didn't he go to Miami with other Oregon commits then?
You going to give Mario credit for Kelvin Banks too because he was commited there before he left for Maimi
Ideally, I’d want 5 star players at every position but in reality, you need to take occasional project players. I always prefer taking projects at OL because that position has the most room for growth. A freshman WR who’s 6’3” and runs 4.3 can contribute right away with very little development required. Linemen, outside of very rare cases almost always require a few years of college strength training and nutrition to reach their peak performance. You can mold 3 star guys with certain size and athletic traits into star linemen. They’re rarely plug and play players. Francis Mauigoa is a unicorn. Even this Cantwell kid likely won’t be getting reps as a freshman. It’s perplexing how many projects get recruited at OL when you are a OL based coach

I don’t think he is that’s why I said for the bag he will get I don’t care if we land him or notCantwell is plug and play
Just look to the draft and see all the 5 star or top 100 OL that got drafted in the first round. It translates
The guy isnt the best coach on gamedays by any stretch of the imagination but tryna discredit his strengths (OLine play)/(Talent Acquisition) is very weird behavior to me..What does Mario/Miami get credit for?
Such weird hills to die on. I even see posters saying Mario and company have had nothing to do with Ward.
Baffling stuff. So Mario and Mirabel aren't OL guys?
Cantwell is much more Proctor than Francis. He’ll be a force in the run game day 1 but pass protection is going to be a challenge. I have zero doubt, as long as he stays healthy he’s at minimum a day 2 pick down the lineCantwell is plug and play
