Brother several CIS members have already done that, lol. Banks, Conerly, and Cameron Williams (R6, Eagles) all are Mario’s guys lol.
What does Mario/Miami get credit for?

Such weird hills to die on. I even see posters saying Mario and company have had nothing to do with Ward.

Baffling stuff. So Mario and Mirabel aren't OL guys?

Nope. Mario doesn’t get credit for ANYTHING positive. Posters literally say the team looks the same as when Manny was here. It’s insanity. We looked like a jv team when we played Bama 😂

Wiltfong is all over the **** place

We might can’t pay exactly what the big schools pay, but our deals are competitive to the point where if a kid wanted to come to Miami, money wouldn’t necessarily be the deciding factor
We might can’t win a championship if we can’t pay like a big boy. Forget this competitive pay nonsense. It’s a mediocre-result oriented mentality

Gotta take the blinders off here. If anything Miami’s the school that has nothing to show when it comes to putting lineman in the league the last 3 years compared to UGA and Oregon, who have had multiple top 60s picks at the oline.
It’s not a Miami vs Georgia or vs Oregon thing. It’s a Mirable and Mario vs UGA and Oregon thing. Mirable and Mario are clearly better. By the way, Mario constructed the Oregon line that you talk about. Kirby Smart knows nothing about Oline compared to Mario

Who was recruiting conerly the entire time he was in highschool to get in interested in Oregon?

Don’t do that; b/c if u do that, then we’ll have to remove the 1 of the 2 Miami OL draft picks (Rivers) which was recruited by, & played for Manny, & 2 of the Oregon OLmen (Hanson & Limeux) that were recruited by & played for Helfrich.

There’s a double edge sword when u guys try to play these semantics type of games. At no point did Conerly commit to Mario, so all the talk of “Mario recruited him” is moot. So did the rest of America, & he chose to commit to Lanning some 2 months after NSD, & 4 months after Mario took the Miami job.

Uhh, the kids they actually coach…..?

As for 2nd bolded part, who said they weren’t? Giving Mario credit for a kid that eventually signed with Oregon just because Mario recruited him while he was HC there but the kid didn’t commit to Oregon until months after he left for Miami, now THAT’s a wild hill to die on.

“He identified him!”. He was a mf 5*, so did Andrew Ivins and every other coach in America lol.

The FACTS are, these kids never played for him. I can’t believe I even have to explain this?

I have to seriously question if the GMs that drafted the Georgia linemen watched any Georgia football last year. They sucked. They were 84th in yards per attempt. Right behind UMass. If you don’t count FCS opponents, they averaged under 4 yards per carry.

Maybe those guys have some kind of individual talent and their coaches just absolutely blow to the point where they couldn’t get anything out of an offensive line with 3 top 60 picks but if we’re actually looking at on field results they’re not a good O-line team.

Injuries were a major factor to their OL last year

It’s really not a weird hill to die on saying he shouldn’t get credit for a guy he never coached.

There’s just not a lot to show for it as of now, but should change come next spring regarding NFL development.

Going into year 4 with the transfer portal, I know I was expecting more than 4 top 100 draft picks from a guy who’s considered such a great recruiter and how much we spend on NIL,

Sarcastic voice “He stayed committed to Oregon to continue Mario’s legacy there, not the cool uniforms, it being a top Nike School, Dan Lanning being a good recruiter and coach coming off a natty, and the boatload of cash.”
