Go watch the MTSU film from last year. Some of us knew then
Thought Jaden played well vs. FSUI’d like to see him and James move on and see more of Jaden Harris. If only our safety room wasn’t as thin as it is. We need 1 of them to come back.
I still think Jaden Harris has played his way into some of Kam’s playing time and I’d give him the chance to unseat him with consistency.
1 play?Thought Jaden played well vs. FSU
I agree. He's in the right place every time I see him on the field.Thought Jaden played well vs. FSU
I was mainly looking at when he was on field on defense, as i still think Kam has the talent and skill set and was worried about drop off......1 play?
On ST missed an open-field tackle that cost us a long punt return.
agree, as much as i want to holler about the knee at GT, Kat never should have allowed anyone to get behind him at that time of game........I agree. He's in the right place every time I see him on the field.
I said what I said about Harris eating into Kam's playing time because you can't have 2 free-range safeties doing whatever they want outside the scheme. James is the energy of the defense and sets the tone with hits. Offensive players are accounting for where 20 is every snap.. as much as he drives me crazy.. you can't bench 20. All Kam has to do is play assignment football and this defense goes from top 15-20 to top 5. Harris gives you assignment football every time he's out there.
The real solution is have Harris and Kam on the field and have James Williams as the Nickel guy instead of Couch/Davis/whoever else they keep trotting on the field.I agree. He's in the right place every time I see him on the field.

Mauigoa does not need to be in on passing downsThe real solution is have Harris and Kam on the field and have James Williams as the Nickel guy instead of Couch/Davis/whoever else they keep trotting on the field.
Why do we need Mauigoa, Cloyd, and Flagg on the field at the same time majority of the game - with Wesley mixed in? Flagg imo is mostly a liability except for the random like 1-2 TFL he gets, Wesley is a complete liability if he’s asked to read the play. And overall the LB group just lacks speed.
So with us in a 335 look mostly I think we’d be a much better defense with Kam and Harris at safety, the same 2 CBS we rocked against FSU and Williams just the guy rotating all over.
Eh I disagree cause he’s been a very good pass rusher. The others I’d want out forstMauigoa does not need to be in on passing downs

Makes so many mistakes. But people only see the obvious ones. But he’s a great tackler and gets some ints and we overlook the bad. I even watched Coach Hayes’ “ The good, the bad, and the ugly” and his review of that play he blames James Williams for that pass play smh. And then praised Kam for catching dude when James actually hawked him down.-Bit on the GT game winner.
-Misplayed huge Dez TD against UNC.
-Bit hard on the RPO against FSU that changed momentum in the second half.
He’s a good player but man these mistakes have been massive game changers. For all the **** that Williams has taken take in the past, Kam deserves a lot of criticism. Especially in a defense that’s so aggressive and relies on its back in to be where they need to be.
Well Hayes missed it, Kam but bad on that play. Yeah he hustled to make the tackle but he got greedy.Makes so many mistakes. But people only see the obvious ones. People never realize what they had until it’s gone. Remember Jacquan, Michael Jackson, Shaq Quaterman, on and on and on.
Kam for sure has made some mistakes. I’ve criticized them.
But him and JW have done a very good job for us this year. Kam has overcome a lot of those errors. JW still scares me from a personal foul and tackling perspective with his inconsistency there but overall, they are pretty good. I think they could get better under another year under Guidry but they both likely leave so we will need portal help.
Kinchens really got a pass on this because Cristobal took the headline away from him but that play against Georgia Tech in the last seconds in what was the final play where he jumped the top of Leary's route was so freaking egregious and so blatantly foolish that I would have benched him for UNC. That play was inexcusable especially given the circumstances. All we needed to do is protect the end zone. Let Leary catch that in front of you and tackle him in the field of play and it's doubtful that GT even gets a play off. At best they kick the tying FG. I love Kam as much as any Cane fan but that was the most atrocious mental mistake a Safety can make. I know that if Bozo the Cristomoron takes a knee that none of this happens. I know that Chaney did not fumble. However they got the ball 74 yards away from the end zone and first Couch goes for a pick and instead gives up a 30 yard completion. Then with the clock winding down under 10 seconds King lofts a pass for Leary that would not have been open had Kam not jumped the top of the route. All Kam had to do was protect the end zone. He couldn't even do that. Inexcusable!-Bit on the GT game winner.
